QUOTE(ZipD @ Feb 1 2007, 01:51 AM) Actually no issues getting it to fit. It fits perfectly 1st time. That's y it's most important to get the measurements n drawing right b4 u start cutting. But I reckon it looks better now without that side fan. IMHO, that side fan is really ugly.edit: Oh noessssssssss! This post has been edited by ianho: Feb 1 2007, 05:02 AM |

erm.. shuold make a fan duct direct to the PSU if using sum nice PSU that have 12 ~ 14CM fan then put a at the front panel there to take out the hot air.. so the PSu got gud cooling...

QUOTE(Mooneyes @ Feb 1 2007, 08:46 AM) hi sifoo...wanna ask how u mod the socket below..did u do sumthing to it or just screw it to the backplate The plug on the acrylic plate is a spare female plug I have. The PSU power cord, I cut n solder to teh female plug on the acrylic plate. p/s: sorry the pic is too small..click it to see what i meant(in the red circle) QUOTE(AllnGap @ Feb 1 2007, 09:10 AM) you're gonna leave it like that ? should invert the airflow direction and the power plug as well.....if make a 2x CDROM size acrylic box with the PSU parts inside can be seen from outside would be nicer.... Nonid fancy looking PSU coz the window I cut to show only the mobo. N the airflow shud b fine coz it exhausts onto the ROM slot covers then it'll be sucked out by the 120mm fan above. The airflow pattern of the case now is reversed. The 8cm fan behind sucks air in. The PSU sucks air towards the front n then everything gets exhausted out the top. If the PSU turn around then it'll cause lotsa turbulence.QUOTE(taxidoor @ Feb 1 2007, 10:23 AM) erm.. shuold make a fan duct direct to the PSU if using sum nice PSU that have 12 ~ 14CM fan then put a at the front panel there to take out the hot air.. so the PSu got gud cooling... QUOTE(Mooneyes @ Feb 1 2007, 01:04 PM) yup, dust is a big problem need to clean it regularly la even u put filter on the fan, it would only block the dust from coming into the case, but the dust will stuck there at the front panel, which is hard to clean it as it's not removable, just vacuum it la |

QUOTE(Doom @ Feb 3 2007, 11:40 PM) hmm .. another nice cutting ... anyway what's the purpose of having transparent top window... Well, the top window is really nice on BTX style cases like the V Series coz the graphics card is facing up instead of down. Having a really nice card like the 8800GTX n a nice big window to show it off from the top is really nice. Did u think of that perspective? i just don't really admire the top panel... Anyway, here's the final updates. Roomlights on pix. ![]() ![]() ![]() Roomlights still on but PSU n fans powered up for sum bling bling. ![]() ![]() ![]() Lights off! It's time to booooooooooooooooogie! ![]() ![]() ![]() Check out the PSU plate. Nice glowing effect on the rim of the PSU plate. ![]() Now let's wait n c if ^666^ will be nice enuf to come back here n show us his bling bling. Haha, the rim effects reminds me of a few of those mood lamps in Ikea's lighting department. Good case choice && mod may I say.
