Hmph. Both of the units that I bought didn't came with it.

I'm trying to find back their preorder deal on their FB page, but unable to find the post that mentioned free micro USB travel adaptor. Huhu

iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black probably will be my first iPhone. Haha!

Samsung Galaxy Note7 and LG V20 both removed from my wanted list now. Oops

Actually I did look forward for iPhone 7 plus release (last ipong iPhone 4) and hoping the leak not that accurate, but saw the official picture with that humongous bezel (its roughly 5mm taller and wider than note7) its a bug turn off for me. Other than that, pretty happy with the spec and the way it looks (from back side).

I think Samseng had spoilt me with high screen to body ratio phone.

Hoping for fresh design in iPhone 8 plus.

Just wonder why Samsung do not want to enable dual speaker (using earpiece) for their flagship phone
Seeing those rooted flagship Samsung phone with this mod make me feel haishhh.

really no use for it. imho...

People like me and perhaps other bought curved screen phone for the looks rather than its usefulness.

My 10 days average battery life performance.
I'm just wondering why this app report higher average SOT than typically I'm able to get. any other apps that more accurate?

Usually from built in battery life monitoring, at 10% battery left with 80% of 4G/LTE, ablet to get around 4.25 to 4.75hrs. With 80% WiFi can close to 6hrs. (Overall kinda 30mins to 1hr lower than previous s7e).

I think note 7 gonna be a failure in sales due to all this negativity. Samsung not gonna get the same amount sales as the previous sales as this problem have already gone too widespread.

If thing doesn't go well the note 7 will have a short lifespan and note 8 may pop out earlier.

2017 will be an exciting year for Samsung's phone and new Apple design.

Samsung say GG5 is "strong", but I guess it much weak than said..

Not sure and their customer service is off for the day. Phone dropped at a very short distance and the screen cracked.

Maybe not that strong but perhaps not that weak also. It also depends in angle of drop and which immediate area of the glass being hit.

For Note7 can't comment, so far didn't drop the phone yet, but from S7E performance (GG4) which in S7E thread people also complaints a lot about the screen is weak or easy to break / crack, so far I have a good experiences.
2 units of S7E in house.
1 used by my dad which protected by dual layer obliq case and armorsuit fell down more than 5 times (perhaps I had lost count) from waist height table (I'm 1.75m tall) on house tile surface. No issue. (the obliq case kinda slippery)

And my own S7E with thin carved case and armorsuit drop few times from myvbed which around my knee height. So far no issue.

Anyway, as normal human beings (me included), we tend to feedback accident stuff/bad stuff when we are having issue and just quiet when nothing happened. Thus that's lead usually we found more damage screen cases on net (people also feedback as reminder or precaution to other users) rather than survived case.

Nevertheless it will be good IF Samsung (at least in Malaysia) can provide free 1x screen replacement for 1 or 2 years for their flagship phone like other manufacturers. It will boost their sales further.
Motherboard kinda failure should be entitle 1-1 replacement in 1st year of use. Customers will appreciate this.

meanwhile a lot people complaining there's no loan phone
and Samsung Malaysia ask them to call Hotline 1800-88-7799 laugh.gif

I'm not sure expect too much. Or perhaps due to other countries received better treatment thus lead this. Some people rant of Facebook about compensation. Its good if Samsung can give but even cars manufacturer when recall like airbag stuff don't give loan car or the most rm50 for the day the car stuck in workshop.
Some people can buy expensive screen protector (clear coat) and expensive casing (above >100), why not just get a cheap phone for temporary (if Samsung unable to loan out phones, although some news I read they able to give s6e or J7)

Anyway hope this will be good lesson for Samsung also. Hoho

Due to this batterygate fiasco, I felt bad to courts CS, I scolded them like not tomorrow when they delayed my pre-order units (they said my name not in the 1st 250units). I even wrote to their CEO via LinkedIn InMail.
After 2 days their CS called / email me they were able to secure 1 unit black (which I'm using rite now) and request me to change another unit from silver to either black or gold which I gladly changed to gold (after my friend ok with it). They also will be giving rm300 courts voucher (will give end of this month).

Feel really bad thus till now I didn't give a call to them yet about the replacement arrangement.

I'm in love with this phone but with this recent debacle on how Samsung handles this, I'm really disappointed. I thought Sony after sales service is the worst (Xperia S Yellow Tint problem), but this is the worst handling by Samsung. Other countries does not have these problems and they even can refund. Just give a bad name for Samsung in Malaysia.
*
In my personal opinion, based on what had I encountered (from numerous phone brand) I would rate Apple and Samsung after sales service above all phone. Dealt with Huawei and it was pretty good. They really catching up to be next big juggernaut. HTC and Sony I don't have good experience with their after sales.

I'm glad they offered replacement. Shit already happened, they're tried to fulfill all those customers demand although some customers demand kinda errrkkkk....haha.

Looks forward for new replacement phone. The note7 in hands feeling really nice, my old s7e just collecting dust in my drawer.
