It happened to S7E as well before Samsung release an update to fix the problem.
Oh, that means Samsung all recent phone got this issue, why Samsung never learn, it still give bootloop at initial firmware. I feel like it is a same bugs but keep recycle and recycle.
You do a wrong way on your original post, the video is not playable because you put as https://youtu.be/seSJvwF68-0, the correct way is put as seSJvwF68-0.

Guys, still remember that Samsung claimed that Note 7 China version is totally safe since they are using different battery factory? Well, it seems that China users could not escape from the fiasco as well.
Today latest news from China, still is mandarin article at this moment (I will try to post the english news once it's out). According to the owner, it was happening during he was browsing the phone.
Pics and proof of receipt attached. From the pic itself, we can see that the battery was swelling up.
Multiple of assumptions out there. Mostly assume either Samsung China battery also has its flaws as well, or the root cause is not the battery itself. Anyway, this made the 1st Note 7 battery explosion case in China.
From the box, this really is China edition... if happen more then probably not only the battery issue, possible design fault already.
FAA didn't ban Note 7 on planes. Read the article correctly before posting.
The title also said ban. You can only bring to aircraft with condition off and also disable alarm because alarm can also awake the phone. From article I think this apply to all mobile phone now.

Correct, the title of the article said "ban" but the content of the article doesn't say ban. My point is that we can't just read the title and follow it blindly and conclude that Note 7 is ban on aircrafts.
If your phone is switched off completely (power off), the alarm cannot wake up or switch on the phone. If you bring your Note 7 on board and power it off completely and don't charge it, you can bring it on board. This is the fact. Note 7 is not ban on aircrafts.
Certain phone can wake up the phone when alarm trigger, I forgot Samsung can or not already but Huawei P9 Plus Alarm can wake up the phone when phone is off.
For the wording "bans", most article is using wording "bans". Go sue those website using bans then. lol
The title clearly mentioned banned using phone at air flight, they never said banned boarding.
those who wana exchange just bring the phone. just say box throw already.. i dont think samsung so cheapo want all accessories back. those are cheap stuff.. LOL.. to them this explosion case is very serious to their reputation. they cannot say dont want to exchange just because you dont have the accessories..
imagine earpiece already use.. what they wana do with the one u give back to them ? refurbish? lol..

Of course, Samsung doesn't make such call as full accessories return. It's a decision made by SME. Accessories such as chargers and s-pen can be repackaged for resell.
I will go with only the phone and receipt and see how they respond to it.
Maybe they will sell the whole set as refurnished set in future once confirmed that unit is safe.
No matter what fix the gona push.. its the users responsibility now not use the 'faulty' phone. why the risk when samsung is asking the users strongly not use the phone....
Agree on this, if now the phone still exploded (unless it is from replacement badge or China set) then it is user issue, user need to take whatever cost on this.
Just went to Europe. Emirates and others euro domestic plane I took take this note 7 phone case so serious. Can't checked into baggage. Need to bring onboard but must totally off. They will put a remark on a tag at your bag mentioned that you are carrying a note 7 lolz
lol! It sound like you being mark dangerous. Different treat to Note7 user...
It quite embrassing actually you know. The tag mentioned got a note 7 but totally switch off something like that. Ewww. Actually at first I don't want mentioned i have a note 7 but I'm afraid I got trouble during security lolz
I know that feel, it do is embarrassing. Hope soon this issue get settle and this special treat get withdraw.
