Great ride by Peco, clean ride by MM. So happy that he won finally. Indirectly thanks to VR for nurturing a great talent. It's difficult to win the Championship but anything can happen. If he keeps getting good results and FQ performance slumping he could do it. Looking back though, Yamaha usually drops performance in 2nd half of the season.

I am taking Rossi out of the equation that's why I say he is getting old lol. With Rossi out , Aleix is the oldest at 32.

Honestly I think no one can match Rossi if they get to his age. On the grid I think he is the least injured of all in his career.

Yeah true. HS55 did well on an M1 too. I would like to think that Yamaha became very rider friendly since Rossi joined but I don't have the hard facts to support that.

Sorry, I thought you meant the WSBK main race only , Race 1 and Superpole not included.

What a shame. He is a fast and consistent rider but somehow he always gets faster team mates like Melandri, Bautista.

It seems a few seasoned riders retiring end of this season. It's like "I'll retire when Rossi retires"

Since they are leaving, seems like they don't really care anymore.

I would not say he is invincible, his wins are hard fought and not just running away at the front. I agree he deserves to win the championship.
