Yeah same feeling from me too, I've stopped watching WSBK long time already now. It;s a pity coz Rae good and fast but unfortunately the rest are just below par and makes the championship a bore fest.

JR do not want to enter motogp...he wanted to stay in wsbk and become legend...he doesnt want to go to motogp because he do not want to roaming around and settled as top 10 with less competitive bike..

kawa on the other hand are factory team...unlike others..

No use going to Motogp if you just run around at the back, especially if you are a multiple champion in WSBK.

true..thats his answer to FOX when they raised the question about rumours his getting an offer from motogp team

I think JR knows his limitations, coz I don't think he can match the top riders of today (MM, MV, VR, JL) on pure pace and he's not that young anymore too, so the prospect is fading fast already. If he wants to win in MotoGP, he needs to be in a factory Yamaha or Honda or at least Duc, where each of this team has an 'alien' or two! Plus he still needs to deal with upcoming talents like Zarco who is already waiting in the wings when VR retires. So his chance is next to none.

I actually began 2 seriously watch SBK when motogp got boring with marquez early years but now seems like the opposite has happened 2015 boring sbk but exciting motogp hahahaha

pity biaggi...he learned the hardway to get that wsbk title...he is not good enough to win motogp title...

checa also another good rider but not that good enough in motogp..

MotoGP is the pinnacle of its racing category so that's where the cream of the crop should end up. When they cannot be competitive there anymore then they move to lesser categories and can still be competitive and even still dominate like Biaggi & Checa in WSBK. So graduating from WSBK to MotoGP is a huge challenge (in fact none has been really successful apart form some odd wins) but vice versa has been proven much easier.

Yeah James toseland was one of my favourites, he was not bad actually since he was on a satellite Yamaha. Too bad his career got cut short by injury and he didn't get to be promoted to the factory team. But he is a good commentator coz of his background, helps that he is a very good looking guy.
Ben spies performance wasn't so consistent though.

Checa was underated just like Alex barros was.
Biaggi lost because he is very emotional and always can't take the psychological games that Rossi played. Come to think of it,Rossi past rivals(Biaggi and gibernau) all lost because of the psycho games.
Melandri also had potential but luck just wasn't with him. I remember when kawasaki pulled out unexpectedly and left him high and dry when he signed. He showed them what could have been with the privateer hayate kawasaki team. It was a mistake to go back to motogp on the aprilia when it wasn't really ready. They should have stayed in wsbk for another year.
