I think MM should be penalized more, like grid penalties in the next race because VR got the grid penalties when he pushed MM wide at Sepang. I'm not siding with VR though coz MM is clearly at fault, I just want consistent ruling.
*
I agree actually but they already slapped him with a 30 sec penalty which means quite difficult to add on another penalty.

but then again people only said dorna favour rossi with that 30sec penalty.

But Rossi also got penalised before when he ran into MM so they cannot say that, they say Zarco didn't get penalised for Pedrosa Incident but they did not come into contact. MM/Aleix Espargaro incident however I think was not addressed properly, he was instructed to drop 1 place behind but I think he should have to drop behind Aleix instead. He made similar moves to other riders too(made Nakagami sit-up too). For rookies I can understand if they barge into others because lack of experience but for someone who has been there for a number of years, especially a multiple world champion it's quite bad. We only saw the major incidents on TV,especially with Rossi because he crashed, we did not see the other overtakes he did, I bet those were quite bashful too.

But then, the race is done and dusted, time to move on to the next one.

If start problem on the grid, by right should go back to the pit lane and start there coz there can be high chance it happen again then causes big accident at the start. That's why in F1 or car races the rule is like that. So MM should've started from the pit lane after everyone passed, and understandable that he got drive through penalty.
*
He blamed the official on the grid who told him to go back to his spot. From the replays I saw the guy pointing to the pit lane but MM went back to his spot anyways.
My take is :
1. Probably he couldn't hear what he was saying properly under the helmet and assumed wrong.
2. MM should know the rules and should know better, he probably thought he can get away with it because he is MM.
3. Race direction should have approached MM when he was on his spot already.

On the other hand, things were kinda in a mess at the time and no one had time to think properly on what to do but then this kind of things should not happen.

Pretty boring race where MM won easily as expected, and not much overtaking/position changes as well behind him.

Points become pretty close though.

I also watched the last 2 WSBK rounds hoping will be a closer fight but now already again Rea way up ahead in the points as usual, hence also becoming boring.  biggrin.gif

u should watch it now...
new regulation with bigger tebo restrictor..means the car now got higher power around 360-380bhp and aerodynamics like dtm/touring cars...

so the battle is more fun now...
and the car more flat out in the stages also...it have been long time since we heard wrc cars hitting rev limiter at top speed inside stages.... now they do it regularly coz more grip to carry higher speed and more power to hit top speed also...  drool.gif  drool.gif  drool.gif

Yeah, I have been watching lately but not following.I saw Loeb coming back on selected rounds.

So Zarco goes to KTM. Hopefully not become wasted talent there.

Tech3 puts HS55 and Miguel Oliviera on their rider wish list. Glad to hear that.

...and MM93 tops FP1...with 10 min to go

He should've gone at least to Suzuki but not sure why Suzuki preferred Rins over Zarco (maybe about money). KTM now is the worse bike on the grid, so would be even more difficult for Zarco to fight at the front like now. I actually want to see him in Honda to replace Dani but I suppose that would be a career destroying move as well as he would have a tough time matching MM.
*
Final FP1 Dovi 1, MM 2, Pol Espargaro 3

KTM seems motivated by the signings. I think KTM needs a few more years for development. We see how Zarco fares but I think he does not have the experience as a development rider yet neither he should be (yet). Suzuki I think seems happy with their current riders so door is probably closed. Most probably also Red Bull can pay him a lot more.
