Yeah, seems to be.
Or track where not suitable to Dovizioso Ducati so he stuck behind...

Well MM might have lost some battles but in the end he won the war!
You can also look at it this way: when Dovi won, he still had MM nibbling very close at his heels but when MM won, Dovi did not even have a chance coz he had built a much larger margin.

Anyway I'm glad Dovi has risen to the top since last year now, so makes the fight more interesting at the front. In a way he's replacing JLo as the top contender at least for now, otherwise we'd only have 3 guys: MM vs Vale vs MV.

Sidetracking to WSBK, Johnny Rea doing his thing in Race 1, Race 2 won by Chaz Davies but the Yamaha and Honda seems to be in the mix this year.

While in World Supersport, Azlan Shah doing an ok job finishing 16th in replacing Kenan Sofuglu at the last minute.

So the championship is closer now?

All on rev limits. But they can play around with gear ratios eg last year they may need 6 gears for a race,this year probably need 7 or 8. This will change how they tackle corners ie previous maybe just downshift from 6th to 4th, now maybe 7th to 5th or 4th. It changes the whole behaviour of the bike. Those who can adapt faster should have an advantage. Makes for closer racing.

Hmm ok, then maybe I should start watching again.
