Yamaha fastest on all sectors. It's up to Quartararo & Viñales themselves if they can hold off Marquez.

If Viñales can do a decent start he might have a chance at winning. Quartararo's race pace needs a lot of improvement though.

That's more injuries than his time at Yamaha.

Rare mistake from Rins.... he has the pace to go wheel to wheel with Quartararo & Marquez.

Rossi is lucky to walk away from the crash but Nakagami was on stretcher.

Edit: Nakagami's ok.

MV proves me wrong and takes a great win, beating MM in a head-to-head battle! Good job too by FQ, pity he couldn't keep up the pace, was scary looking at him trying to control the wobbles!

Dovi looks dejected.

Assen isn't Ducati's strongest tracks. Same goes to next week's track (Sachsenring).

This race could've been better if Rins didn't crash out. Hoping Yamahas could perform at other track.

Noticed they put ice on Quartararo's arm, his arm isn't fully healed or pain after hard ride?

nope...

yamaha only suits tight tracks with many turns....

in later stage probably in silverstone maybe...
but the rest is duc and honda open track...
ferrari? i got excited with lelek...but...seems he was fading off quickly...  hmm.gif

Add sachsenring & phillip island. These tracks don't have overly long straight. Yamaha did well at barcelona though (until lorenzo crashed out).

I think yamaha starting to improve but probably a bit late.

2 more poles to beat Doohan's record. He has whole season to do it.

MotoE is quite enjoyable to watch (the acceleration is crazy) but race distance is too short... :/

Positives: Rossi & Bradl in top 10 (that's more top 10 than Lorenzo).

Negatives: Quartararo & Rins crashed out.

Marquez had a bad start but Quartararo & Viñales couldn't capitalize (probably lack of power/speed off the line like Ducati). Kinda expected the outcome but at least the doctor didn't crashed out.

Forgot to add Nakagami finished in points despite being uncapable of walking on his own. Not sure if he's fully healed before the race.

#HS55 definitely out  of Tech 3..

Maybe Petronas will save him? Morbidelli not perfoming so well on the Yamaha, could get the boot(as an excuse).
*
SRT Moto2 team, probably yes. Both Morbidelli & Quartararo are too precious to be dropped.

Unless Quartararo is promoted to factory Yamaha (to replace Rossi once he retires), that will happen. But he's not guaranteed to get that SRT ride, still need face competition from other riders.

if only honda can give his bike to hafizh or zarco, sure top 10  wink.gif

Both can't ride V4. Only inline-4s suit them.

weirdly... he and zarco both failed to launch the bike at starting...

zarco even falls more than 10position when arriving at T1
*
Both struggle with V4... probably too accustomised with inline-4 (reminder that previous moto2 engine was an inline-4).
