With the current currency exchange rate, you will never get a new iPhone below RM 3000 even before any mark up. Lowest model of RM 2600 are probably 5S time. Since iPhone 6 onward the cheapest is SGD 988 or 998 i cant remember

The 32GB iPhone 7 is approx. RM2980 after conversion.
If anyone want I can buy for you with a RM200 mark up tongue.gif

lol you guys always concern yourselves with the colour behind. For me having a black face is a must. Other than that I can't be bothered what color is behind as usually my phone cases are of the heavy duty variant hence the back is usually fully covered.

I was at some furniture roadshow today and one particular exhibitor told me if I spend RM20,000 and above with them I would get a brand new free iPhone 7. I answered "Huh? Not launched here yet means you will give me an imported set?"

"No sir, we'll give you an official Malaysia set. In November."

Simple unbox and simple review  laugh.gif

[attachmentid=7543989]

New packaging where phone is no longer on the top

[attachmentid=7544000]

[attachmentid=7544001]

short 3.5mm to lightning converter

[attachmentid=7544003]

some hardware instruction and the usual apple sticker

Review:
- Phone is slightly heavier, thicker compare to iPhone 6 Plus
- Home button haptic feedback is good
- you get 248GB usable space for a 256GB model, not too bad

yours is truly the simplest review i have ever encounter anywhere in the world icon_idea.gif

He knows Apple fans are review-proof. If they already plan to buy, doesn't matter how simple or complicated your review is. They will still buy.

Not sure to believe those scratch test or not? Scratch test revealed that the camera lens cover and home button scratches with an object around 6H hardness which indicates that it may not be sapphire crystal after all. However, Apple's spec sheet still says sapphire crystal. hmm.gif

If it's not sapphire crystal, have to be quite careful with the home button as this is what reads the fingerprint so can't afford to have a scratch that can affect the fingerprint reading.

Omg bodo me. I totally forgot to indicate which country I converted from.
Hong Kong bro.

By the way, for those wondering how easily the iPhone 7 Jet Black scratches, see video below (spoiler: it's really REALLY fragile. even coins will start scratching it).

Not only coin, even clothes also can scratch it, this is the most I can't accept. I don't might if it can scratch by coin or key chain but clothes wiping is another story already.

How you take care also no use unless they is a skin wrapping up forever and need to change from time to time as skin also is scratch-able.

So now i make up my decision already - just get the matte black. smile.gif

If coin can easily scratch it then Jet Black won't survive rough surface

Strangely, the 6S+ booted much quicker compared to the 7+ which I wonder why? hmm.gif
*
I guess it has something to do with the "Quad Cores" where 2 cores does heavy load stuff and 2 cores are for efficiency to save battery. Probably its utilizing the 2 smaller cores to boot the device? Its just a rough guess though

November because they need to give time for the hype to settle down before they can get those stocks for their "free gift" of purchasing furniture RM20k and above.

I'm not sure why the Jet Black is raising high concern about getting scratched but isn't the iPhone 4 and 4S back then were made of glass and prone to scratches too? I didn't see that becoming a big concern though. Just my opinion.
