The only way possible to do what you planned is to drive yourself . However, you need to drive back to KK from tawau thru Kimanis & take the flight back to peninsula from KK.

Public transport - almost impossible

For instance , the Poring Hot Spring, Kinabalu Park & Kundasang. There are far apart , there is no specific routine bus . Maybe got unscheduled kereta sapu. Also I dont think there is any overnight bus from those places to Sandakan.

yes they have but u need to go to them instead of them coming to u
u need to know very specifically where they're located
some sabahan do still take it but most don't rely on it

if u plan to rely on public transport in sabah, u need to plan it until 110% specific and sure

I saw on this site:
https://www.easybook.com/en-my/bus/booking/sabah-to-sabah

Have many bus operators and scheduled timing, have you used any of them before?

actually no, never use it before
because taking public transport in sabah isn't like in WM where everything is displayed out on the board
if not just go to the kiosk machine and can advance purchase any ticket(can buy advance in weeks/months)

it doesn't work here like that...there is no kiosk either...everything is via counter rclxub.gif

so if u ask me how accurate is that schedule...i really don't have an answer for u laugh.gif
u can use it but u HAVE to have a BACKUP plan if it doesn't go as plan

fill in the form when you're at KLIA2
but after submitting it, don't close it
keep the QR code and show during arrival to the officer and you're out

that's actually a good choice
not only faster, it's also less stressful

i would take this option today too due to how bad sabah's road are today

Hi, as after 1 Apr, the border open, West Malaysian entering Sabah just need to show IC right? No need to bring passport? Do I need to do any Pre-Depature Covid test before taking the flight to Sabah from West Malaysia?

Thanks! looking forward to visit sabah on June. How the weather in Sabah during June....hopefully it not a monsoon season.
