Cannot find any information on RSP, so I ask a few question about PMMMF here (hopefully wont be bombared by sifu here laugh.gif)

1) When you invest, how long does it appear in your holding?

2) From the previous performance chart, it seems like crediting interest to you at the end of each month rather than continuous performance like NAV.

3) If you do RSP, can PMMMF served as a platform to RSP from there to the fund you want to invest similar to how CMF function?

Like what we say to many in the past, start la one thread on eUnit trust. Can have some competition for FSM. And if the posts move slower, then wont be drowned in FSM thread of many versions

I also curious to know why you choose RHB bond over RHB islamic bond

This year is considered a good year for islamic bonds for a few reasons. And with EPF shariah compliant fund, the demand for islamic bond would only increase over time. That's my reason to add on to this fund

If you want, you can buy through eunittrust, another online platform which offer it with 2% SC smile.gif

Or just through conventional agent like banks (which offer original SC 3%) smile.gif

Affin Hwang Select Bond Fund (also managed by pink spider and xuzen's favourite fund manager biggrin.gif) is also similar to Select Income Fund, which offer 2% SC through eunittrust and conventional agents, but not through FSM sad.gif

very good hor the performance?
*
Actually if you just look at performance, on 2 or 3 years historical performance actually ATR beats select bond hands down. But ATR is very volatile. I like my FI to behave like FI.

Select bond volatility is really low for an Asian bond fund. Credit to the fella who recommended the fund to me.

Noted with thanks Xuzen.
Thanks for the heads up. I am not sure how I missed out on Affin Hwang Select Bond fund before.

[edited] Cis. Not available not purchase via FSM!

Kan I already say I buy from conventional channel. And you can do that too :-) It's a good fund la. Esp for your wife's capital protected portfolio

Affin Hwang Selection Bond Fund appears to be a strong contender to Libra AsnitaBond Fund.
*
Actually if you look at Select Bond's composition, it's a Msian heavy asian bond fund. So it's not exactly in the same asset class as Asnita bond. The good thing with this fund is stability despite exposure in asian bonds. and the huge fund size reducing risk of single default having a significant impact to the returns and hence the low volatility

So even with sales charge it's still worth it I find.

If one has a way of withdrawing EPF, can consider investing in this also, as it beats the EPF returns.

Not EPF approved ler

Come come lai lai

Kor kor Xuzen teach you his ninja trick ver 2.0.

Want to buy Affin-Hwang Select Income fund and Bond fund at anytime anywhere through FSM at zero sales charge?

Just buy the Affin-Hwang PRS Moderate fund lor!

all bundled up in a nice package, just like the McHappy Meal™.

Boss, I have the Growth PRS. The issue I have with it is, the composition of the funds it feeds to is dynamic and they seem to be changing it all the time. When I bought it feeds into Quantum and Japan growth fund, now both the funds not in anymore. So feels like now you see you, now you don't

Hypothetical question. Say if you could have the flexibility between keeping in the money in EPF vs investing in AH Select Bond Fund, would you consider withdraw everything out and put it in the bond fund ? wink.gif
*
Err, I think put all retirement money into 1 single fund is not a good idea lor. anyway my MIS is in equity funds. Select bond is cash investment
