Simple answer 50:50 also.

But majority of gyms i've taken down are level 7-8 max, level 10 twice only.
Why? Because i don't usually keep loads of potions / revives for tearing gyms solo and most of my mons are at cp for prestiging (i.e. i haven't powered them up, even those with good iv).

That being said, like what yeelong said, if start must finish the job. Unless i have the intention from the start to play with the opposite team (increase prestige required to level up the gym or bring down prestige while someone else is trying to level it up).

When rushing for gym collection, I wouldn't touch high lev gym. I'll fight it after collect the coins.

i never attack lvl 10 gym bekos i know i cant commit to take it down all the way
however, sometimes, if the gym is at a long ass traffic light, i would battle how many mons i could (max 3) just to kill time

Playing solo most of the time so depending on:

- how many pots to burn
- spare time I have in hand
- if I feel like trolling the gym (if oppo team)


High chance I will not go all the way coz unlikely all 3 scenarios will be fulfilled at the same time

Speaking of which... Just now pass by lvl 7 gym thought wanna prestige but a lvl 34 idiot put in a 200cp blissey. Dafuq wasted everyones effort

i guess. But in my house n work area, its territorial. Some gyms change hand more frequently. Personally I took down a level 10 valor gym near my house around 6am .. Around 10am it was level 7 and by noon back to 10 with blissey, snorlax, d9, t9. Not that rewarding to constantly take it down.. Lol. I get little xp, no dust, no coins.

If i got time, i will take it down all the way. But sadly my area is conquered by my own team, hardly got chance to c opposite team level 10 gym.

Might need to prepare different type to cover type advantages for Raid Boss

The gym rework will come in a few stages. Raid boss is beta test at California first only slowly launching out to the rest, just like the tracking system. I suggest Hold on to the stardust first... if your itchy finger can hold.

Ice - Lvl 34 Lapras, gonna max out another Lapras after the event
Fire - Lvl 33 FF/FB Arcanine.... not decided whether I should continue to move to FS/OH Flareon instead.
Electric - Lvl 35, 33, 31 + misc Jolteons. Not decided whether if its absolutely crucial

sekali the raid boss is a giant Lapras, all your Dragonite will have a tough time.

I wonder if got Giant Blissey .... definitely need 20 ppl to take it down.

IV not as important in current meta. Just power up whichever that requires less dust preferbly 15 or 14 attack stats kao tim.
