good for you, been seeing more and more XC90s running around, XC60 also launching soon. I'm sure XC40 will come by middle of next year, awaiting the CKD 1.5 hybrids!

Roughly when xc60 will be launching bro?

salesperson told me end of year. Nov or Dec 2017. CBU units first followed by CKD in a few months. From mudah.my, estimated pricing is 320k for CBU. CKD 300k? Fingers crossed below 300....

Spec to spec, if you compare to GLC, Q5 and X3 there is no comparison. The XC60 is better than all of them in terms of specifications. All four cars are around the same price except the Merc, BMW and Audi have less than 250 hp while the Volvo has 400 hp (petrol + electric). Considering the specs, it is not expensive if you're in the market for such a car.

VW being VW, 6 months later, the issues are coming up on the Tiguan my family bought. The car refuses to start at all

Too bad, hope it's easily rectified. Besides the error on the dashboard, why and what does the SC say is the problem?

Sabar boss, VW SC is not fast food delivery.. my Polo Sedan battery flat also need to tow to SC, let it overnight 1 night for them to truly confirm battery issue only can claim warranty.

u got it the other way round. it will most likely be a t6 not t8. and priced at 300k not 200k.
*
I'm aware of the potential pricing.. Like I said I wouldn't "mind" one... And there is a XC60 T8 Inscription variant in the XC60 lineup.

salespeople said so and it wouldn't make sense to bring in T6 when T8 can be priced lower than T6 due to government incentives for hybrids. Also, previous S90/V90 was brought in as T6 only because the T8 wasn't ready to be sold at the time when they wanted to launch it. T8 S90/V90 was only just released worldwide like less than 4 months ago? If you follow the news, T8 is coming this month and due to tax incentives will be 348,888 (introductory price) for T8, more than 100k cheaper than T6!

QUOTE(khanninah @ Oct 10 2017, 11:16 PM)
so volvo will have 3 distinct models (xc90, s90, xc60) priced within 15% of each other ? seems like massive overlap with zero price segmentation. and a gaping wide hole in the 250-350k price range.
*
XC90 404k S90 360-380k XC60 300-320k est. All come with T8 twin engine. If VOCM brings in T6 or T5, even though they are lower end engines and priced much cheaper in most other markets than T8; in Malaysia only CKD hybrids get the tax free status, thus T6 and T5 will be priced higher than T8. So rather than waste time and effort, just bring in T8. The price gaps will be filled in by upcoming XC40 which I assume will be priced at or below 230k and also S60 which will be below 300k. All hybrids most probably.
