QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Nov 5 2016, 10:54 PM) it's built in. you can go to Settings > Display > Double Tap to Wake ironically this feature was first found in Lumia phones, then extended to Oppo, then to Sony only since last yearHOWEVER, the negative side is that this function is half-assed. it doesn't work always if your phone stays in the pocket most of the time. also, it may turn on by it's on if the screen faces your thigh. good feature nonetheless, to prolong the lifespan of the power button |

But nah, Sony has excellent power buttons since the Z. My Z Ultra has been using it for more than 2 years and it's still functional. good feature nonetheless, to prolong the lifespan of the power button |

I can say that I don't need the power button for my Huawei, unless its for power on/off, and reboot.good feature nonetheless, to prolong the lifespan of the power button |

That's why u NEED a power button, it is not unnecessary. This post has been edited by ^4ever_Fan+a5y^: Nov 9 2016, 12:37 AM |

something like the new iphone 7 home button?
anyway, is there an option for xz to stay awake when full screen apps are launched? mine still sleep after 30 seconds of inactive, even when smart screen is switched on. This post has been edited by seichirosano: Nov 9 2016, 11:35 AM |

Try set a longer time for the screen to go sleep? anyway, is there an option for xz to stay awake when full screen apps are launched? mine still sleep after 30 seconds of inactive, even when smart screen is switched on. Anyway, android OS has been draining my battery quite a while. Gonna install wakelock detector to see what the hell is wrong. |

QUOTE(seichirosano @ Nov 9 2016, 11:34 AM) something like the new iphone 7 home button? Alternatively u can install an app called tasker, an automation tool which is very useful. U can set the screen always on when u open certain apps.anyway, is there an option for xz to stay awake when full screen apps are launched? mine still sleep after 30 seconds of inactive, even when smart screen is switched on.
