Referring to BtekT review...the camera still got overheating problem. In my experience with Xperia Z3 and Z5 this is the biggest dissapointment. Almost one time feel like want to throw away the phone to the floor. Lucky its only apps problem and still can used google camera apps for shooting.
Why sony why |

Review is out by PhoneArena.
Under Image Quality section, comment by PhoneArena "Sony seems to have changed that quite a bit with the XZ, which takes pictures that have a very noticeable contrast, saturation and sharpening boost. Despite this quite obvious oversharpening, in areas of uniform color, details appear smudged out and not all that clear. Some artifacts like color fringing are also particularly easy to notice." "Image quality on the Xperia XZ is fine, but by no means extraordinary or even on par with devices like the Apple iPhone 7 series, Samsung’s Galaxy S7 family, LG’s G5, or the HTC 10." I agree all..., add-on the side still blur out like Z5. Not really an improvement. http://www.phonearena.com/reviews/Sony-Xpe...w_id4255/page/3 This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Sep 24 2016, 01:22 AM |

QUOTE(yuhhaur @ Sep 23 2016, 08:45 AM) Why Sony does not have a fingerprint scanner in the US? I cannot brain this enough especially when it comes with an 820. |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Sep 24 2016, 01:18 AM) Review is out by PhoneArena. Expected... Been using z1 for 3 years and I seldom use superior auto. I'm no pro in photography but I do notice that superior auto mode tends to boost up the iso and pictures usually end up overexpose and grainy. I've been using manual 8mp and leave all settings in auto. This mode gives better result than superior auto mode.Under Image Quality section, comment by PhoneArena "Sony seems to have changed that quite a bit with the XZ, which takes pictures that have a very noticeable contrast, saturation and sharpening boost. It's a business decision...But it's only disabled on the software. The fingerprint sensor is there actually. If they flash other regions' firmware, they'll get the fingerprint sensor working. |

There are plenty of rumors out there, one being the most believable is the copyright infringement of pattern to Hewlett Package. HP had the copyright of the fingerprint scanner on power button.Same as XPerf, Z5, the hardware still there, just didn't gets activated by the software. If one flash a Europe firmware then it can be use. |

I cannot brain this enough especially when it comes with an 820. it's business decision, and it is rumored to linked with HP pattern on the power button + fingerprint scanner.however, the positive side is you can get the scanner work again by flashing firmwares with fingerprint manager. not really a big hassle and flashing other region's FTF will not void warranty. |

I see. Then it should be no problem to flash as the phones are unlocked and not tie to the telco. Should be safe as Sony hopefully will close one eye on this.

Never change and I believe forever won't as maybe they have no idea to get a better photo process output. |
