I recommend you visit their showroom first for those in your list before make any decisions.
Before this I have shortlisted to two companies and decided go with panther because the staff told me that the other company in my list is not even their competitor, plus their quality is guaranteed though pricey a bit.

Unfortunately Panther only covers KL & Selangor area and I am based in Johor. I did ask them if the would come down to Johor and they say yes with a min. spend of RM50k sweat.gif

50k would be around the price to cover an entire house, but still Better dont then, cause then the after sales service will be an issue if they dont cover that area.

I am looking to install a single swing door for kitchen that has both glass and security mesh. Anyone can recommend me which company that does this?

Optima does both glass and mesh in a single frame, thus neater. Do note they only do laminated glass

Panther doesnt do glass

Thanks for this info.
Btw, when you say in a single frame, does it mean the frame has 2 doors? one opening inside and one opening outside?

Finally moved in to my new place recently.
TLDR : Would recommend Optima for mesh, sliding door, windows
solid product, long warranty, reliable sales person, google review pouring with +ve comments on their after sales serviced (I only recently moved in, fingers cross and hope not to need any major after sales service)

I engaged Optima, via Jerry Chan, for sliding door x3 + mesh (slidingx2, foldingx1) and all house windows (fixed, sliding and swing).
Would recommend Optima. Solid build and very impressed by the protection after they completed while my other reno work was still on going. The frames were taped up, the windows had a protective plastic sheet on it. Can embed alarms sensor in the frame as well (alarms from different vendor)
I didnt' get the double glazed windows due to budget bursting (for sound proofing), and yet excellent sound reduction/proofing.
Pricing wise competitive (not cheapest, not the most expensive either)
Jerry – responsive, attended to all my queries prompt (even after work hours), flexible and ok to arrange for 2 rounds of installation to time it with my alarms vendor’s installation
Once all dirty works completed, Optima’s team came to remove the tapes/sheets and did final touch up!
Just need to take note on:
1/ actual sliding door opening size – I did mesh and sliding door with 2 fix panel + 2 sliding open. Opening was slightly smaller than expected as the frame is really thick/wide and the sliding door handles eats up about 10cm on each side, thus reducing the mesh opening by 10cmx 2
2/ swing windows – hidden hinges (for security I guess), therefore can’t hold it in certain angle like conventional swing windows with “control bar”. With current strong winds/rainy season, the windows got blown by the wind and slammed against the frame a few times. Didn’t leave windows opened subsequently.
Would be great if optima had some kind of accessory to allow windows to open up to certain angles.

Cheers!

Yes, Optima pro is hidden hinges but their cons is ALSO hidden hinges making the frame very thick. This is one reason I didnt go with folding door, sliding still ok cause the frame will overlap. I also engaged their sister company Arxtech to mesh up my entire house, for both security and mosquito proofing.

Quality for Optima/Arxtech is ok, i would say overkill on their hinges, frames, mesh thickness, heavy duty roller etc... my house area doesnt need that kind of protection but I can see how more "high risk" location would appreciate it.

The main reason I went with them is for thier pricing and their after sales service.

After having the mesh grille till now, I would say the most obvious benefit is the unit barely got fly/mosquito compare to old unit. Even there's fly flew through when the door is open, you can see it's dead on floor somewhere the next day, might be overtired/starving cause keep flying and couldn't find an exit.

Hi Sir, i recently texted with Alex the consultant from Optima. He quoted me the windows + Mesh. But he told me they only do supply and install. Did you demolish your old windows and make good the wall by using your own contractor?
