Can you share what is the error message for the new update?

My son called to informed it finally updated when he was trying it this morning. The start up improved and exit of Kodi is a tad faster

So think it's OK now. One thing I like abt this box is that the UI is better than A95X especially when you exit an application it goes straight to home page.

The A95X Nexbox will go into a blank screen b4 home page pops out which is annoying and slow

What do you think about this box?

This box will only ship on March. Maybe reviewer will get this box earlier can give review. The hardware looks decent but firmware not sure since current GT1 also have a lot of problem.

GT1 good.. GT1 ultimate better

3gb ram 32gb rom if play game should be better

But for watch movie/surf/YouTube

This latest Beelink SEA 1 should be mighty good. It can act as a NAS, with its Openwrt application built into the box. Can do recording up to 1080p if you are into this sort of thing, and picture-in-picture capability.

I read the x9s has some problems with decoding some 4k content due to the same SoC...also the latest docooler using ddr4 wasn't much faster than ddr3... Hope this guy fares better...

Hopefully they would have resolved the problem. At any rate, I don't find that I really need my GT1 to play 4k materials as the only 4k stuff I can find is from youtube and netflix (files too huge to download taking up too much space) - thanks to the 100mbps from time.

I am quite interested with the openwrt nas capability of these newest realtek boxes. Wonder if anyone here can tell me if they work well as nas?
