6.7mil is the value of bastian as an asset not his wages as he no longer consider part of the team. his wages far more than tht value. 200k per week. united probably already decide he can leave for free.

guess no way bastian will feature at all for united this season
*
Doesn't the club need to compensate him in ending the contract too? Or is the 6.7 mil the compensation?

Well, why am I not surprised that Mkhitaryan is already complaining about his playing position? Yes, the Rooney factor again. As I've said time & time again, Rooney must be dropped or sold for the team to progress.

That's why so as long as Rooney is still in the starting XI, don't expect any great things to happen.

The progress City has made under Pep is frightening. Pool's attacking prowress is quite a site to behold. Coming from a United fan, it's pretty damning. We have a good squad sans Rooney & a few other dead beat players. Let's hope they can click as fast as possible because we don't wanna play catch up.

city always got strong squad. aguero simply the best no 9 in the world alongside suarez. de bryne & silva world class. CB probably the main issue for city last season. kompany unfit, mangala very poor. stones(if SAF still around i think he will snatch this kid) great signing for city and his style a great fit wt pep possession play. pep always gonna hv easier job than mou. united still in transition. LVG and mourinho different approach also would hv some effect and taking more times in building the squad. GGMU.

It's also useless if your entire team tactics have to be adjusted to accommodate Rooney instead of for the best of the squad.
The problem is he's being a passanger for majority of the matches with only flashes of brilliance.

Pep selects the player that suits his tactics the best.

Correct. If Pep is in charge at Utd, if Rooney is not in his plan, he would've been shipped to Timbuktu for all I care.
