He has it all...speed strength vision technique finishing...only used to be injury prone but now he's doing fine...i really wish our martial become like him but he's put at left mid instead sad.gif

Barca went for him b4 settling for suarez

Strikers like Kun are few and far in between. I seriously rate him as one of the best strikers in the world, he's class. The Zlatan as well, even if he struggles with consistency. Still, he's probably the best signing United made recently imo. It's a wonder he hasn't joined earlier. Even at 35, he has an ability to influence and that can only be good for United's up and coming youngsters. He does have the so-called United DNA, the never say lose and the mercurial talent. Things can only look up for you lot, it's a step in the right direction.
Interested to see what Mourinho does next. He seems to be struggling to resist reverting to his usual modus operandi and strategies. If he can achieve success at United, doing things the "United way", fellow's bound to be written into the history books as one of the Greats. Stakes are the highest it's ever been for him. It's a fascinating season all round, can't believe some are still in the corner whinging about everyone and everything. I mean, it's going to be one hell of a ride. So let's enjoy it yeah.
Football, fuking hell.

SAF was the embodiment of the modern Man Utd.

Players as well as the board, knows that, he controls Utd.

One slight wrong against him, you're done

Post SAF, the managers grip with the club is no longer like how SAF ran the club.

Players are more bold, if they don't like the manager, they will revolt against him, by playing badly so that the board will make the decision to sack.

If the players would have did what they did during Moyes and I suspect even during LVG tenure, he'll drop a few of those prima donas, and play the youth who are more than welcome to take the spot, cause he knows they are not bigger than the club.

*this is just from a mere view of mine*

It was RVP who played well and help us to get the title.. Rooney wasn't good that season, there is even question being asked why Kagawa was being played on the left to accommodate him.. yet he still asked for a transfer
*
RVP were great tht season.. but everyone else were good too. rooney got goals and couple of assist tht season. kagawa & rooney both gunning for the same role but SAF still choose rooney tht time and thts is my point. rooney always important part of SAF squad until he retired.

funny how no one EVER seems to notice tony valencia has been shit as a right back.

Pretty sure he has been copping flak for years now, every time he has to defend it's time to pray and hold your breath biggrin.gif

The main benefit he brings at RB is his energy levels/strength.

Crossing / assists = was outstanding for 1 season (2010?), then between his injuries and opposition learning how to handle him.......... the assists and danger dropped massively.

Gonna be interesting to see who the "leak" is.

Considering Mourinho basically nuked Casillas because he suspected him to be the dressing room leak at Real Madrid........... whoever it is can say goodbye, unless Mou has changed his reaction towards that kinda thing.

This is the same Woody that agreed/did not protest the appointment of Moyes. Ok, give him that one since SAF was a titan at the time and he recommended Moyes to the board.

The same Woody that decided LVG needed to be given a 3 year contract even when LVG himself only wanted the job for 2 years.

The same Woody that was a disaster in practically every transfer window before the last one, and even in the last one could not sell the players JM did not rate as good enough in order to reduce our squad size and wage bill.. which is supposedly why we did not push harder to sign Fonte.

Right now when our defence is not good enough, am I the only one wondering if we would be better with Fonte available to lend experience and leadership to the back-line?

Poor patch, but we got some guys who are bright lights.

Zlatan, Rashford, Bailly (mostly).

Valencia and Fellaini much improved compared to the previous 3 seasons, although still not perfect.

Gonna be interesting to see how Pogba settles, how the team formation and tactics change as JM adjusts and learns how to max the team performance.

Looking at his track record at Inter, Real, Chelsea 2nd coming...... his 1st season is about calibrating the team, and the team peaks in his 2nd season at a club.

i did read scholes comment, pogba was good because he was a feeder to pirlo, or in other word, he should play fellaini's role and partnered with hererra/carrick maybe?

for my personal opinion, fellaini is the weight who drag pogba down, plus with rooney who are clueless in linking attacking team with pogba/fellaini. I'm still blaming fellaini as he just doing the tackling part only, in cohesion during attacking he got lost and this might coz by rooney also. For me the team's synergi is not there. its a domino effect due to our lack of general in field. Bastian/blind might come handy

fellaini only can tackle and have height. doesnt add anything in the build up. lets not forget the also gave away fouls at dangerous area. hope jose changed at let others try that place. what if schwein is the partner pogba needs ?

i agreed with that, bastian look promising now, maybe his stamina will be an issue, but he got character to carry the team.

experienced and calm. and he is a real leader and winner. not much of our players have that now. stamina wise, he doesnt need to do the running, just keep himself injury free. pogba can do the running. schwein ust need to do the passing rclxms.gif

i cant even think how fellaini and young can even convince 3 manager in the row. rooney maybe hard to drop, but fellaini? on which part he is better then schend/bastian/herrera.
