Nothing to wow about. Playing the same team vs pretty much same type of opponent and expect different result is just dumb. I rate arsenal higher than Liverpool in both offense and defense.
English Clubs Chelsea FC - The Shed V41, BPL - Man City 1 - 3 Chelsea

Arsène Wenger admits regret at failing to sign Chelsea’s Diego Costa for Arsenal
QUOTE “I like Costa as a player,” Wenger said. “I like the qualities of the player. All the rest around is not needed. He’s a very strong player. He looks, since the start of the season, to have cleaned up his act, that he behaves more focused on the game. And that makes him more dangerous.” Wenger has been in the market for a new centre-forward over the past few summers and said that Costa was on his radar. “I never thought he would leave Atlético Madrid at the time, I was surprised,” Wenger said. “Would I have made a harder play for him had I known? Yes. I like him, as a quality striker.” https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/s...-premier-league not sure if mind game... |

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Sep 24 2016, 10:16 PM) We wouldn't know for sure not until an hour before kick-off when the club announces the line-up on social media. But it would be fantastic if Fab would be in the line up as he had shown against Leicester of what he can do. His involvements in the team have also been fruitful especially his long passes to Costa at the final third. |

QUOTE(ahchat @ Sep 24 2016, 10:45 PM) I hope so too, but I'm not sure if the team has matured enough to rely on Kante being the only holding midfield.I would have preferred if Matic plays alongside him, and stop his attacking attributes for a while. I realised he has been going far posts these days, and leaves his spot behind, and he does not have the stamina to run box to box and to retract during counter attacks from the opposition like Kante has. |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Sep 24 2016, 10:48 PM) you maybe right but ignoring training progress, improvement on tactics in the last game, return of attacking flair..are just as dumb. Last game different set of players. Rare occasion. Last 5 league games the team basically deploy same tactic with same set of players except for the time when Pedro start in place of injured willian. And also last game, luiz in place of Terry. The only convincing win we got is vs Burnley. I know our strenght and weaknesses, as long we play our way and deal with the weakness accordingly, we can beat anyone. I understand your virw, but I chose to be optimist and supportive rather than feed on negativity and over the top complaints. We got steamrolled by pools last week at home. The reason we manage to get the goal in that game is because poolsvdecrease their intensity and let us play our game. Play the same tactic vs arsenal, I can guarantee we'll achieve the same result. Critics and being negative or complaints as u claim is two different thing. U need critics to correct all the wrongs. Being optimistic and still stick with the same approach is like the people keep on voting BN every election because they believe BN can bring the best to the country. |
