Hmm I'm considering to snap a used XT-1 first and splurge on lens instead.  biggrin.gif

A used one is rather cheap. Some are going for around 2.3K now for minor scratches while mint condition goes for 2.6K. Definitely worthwhile considering if you plan to come over to the Fuji side rclxms.gif

Is there a way  to find out the shutter count on an X-T2?
I'm very new to fujifilm camera system but read a lot of good things about it.  shakehead.gif

Nope, no way to find out on shutter count. Welcome to the Fuji side. What lens are you pairing it with? If you're interested in joining our Fuji WeChat group just send me a PM rclxms.gif

Bro @kelvinling, some Europe countries and Australia have start giving cashback promotion. Have your shop receive any news from Fujifilm Malaysia for cash back here?

my xt1 rubber door has expanded and the rubber grip start to expand and the glue been detach..looking for advice if this cover under warranty...if pay how much? if live outside kl..any chances get it fix at agent eg. in kk

tq in advance

I don't think it's covered by warranty (as far as I remember anyway). Price to change should be around RM300+. Better check with Fujifilm Malaysia.

In KK, there is a Fujifilm Office. Can refer to this link ---> http://www.fujifilm.com.my/contact/office_...tions/#content6 or send to the address below:

QUOTE(gdraven @ Oct 26 2016, 06:38 PM)
Hello guys and girls. I am really new to this dslr/mirrorless camera thingy but have made up my mind to get a Fujifilm after doing some research on my own. I am choosing either between a X-T2 + 18/55mm or a XPro2 + 18/55mm to last me for a few years. However, I was wondering if a cheaper XT10 + option to buy a 18/55mm + 1 other prime lens might be a better choice seeing that I am really new to all these? I would appreciate if any old timer here could give me some pointers on jumping into this new hobby. Thanks!
*
I say go for the X-T2 unless you want the rangefinder than you'll need to get the X-Pro2. Other than that, why are you considering the X-T10 instead of the X-T1? Just curious so can help you more in giving more advice

Hello bro. Thanks for the reply. The cheaper option would be to go with either the XT10 or the XT1 with two lens. I understand that the XT10 is the younger sibling of XT1.

Just a quick question. Would prime lens be a better fit with the range-finder style of Xpro2 than the XT2 or are there no differences? I haven't been able to test out both models so I am not sure how they work. I am basing my choices on some of the reviews online but skipped most of the technical parts for now. Haha! 😬
*
come and look for me. I'll let you test it out. X-T10 doesn't have weather seal and is smaller in size as compared to X-T1. I think it really depends on what your shooting style is like. What were you using before this?

Not really Fujifilm related but...

Canon is working on a full-frame mirrorless.

Looks like Canon is taking the mirrorless game seriously. Feel threatened by X-T2 most prolly?  hmm.gif
*
Canon should feel threatened by Sony instead of Fuji.

Guys... finally managed to sell off my old camera.... and I think more or less I am poisoned by Fuji...

So my precious 2 cam... most used lens was the 35mm or 30mm prime lens so I am almost certain to get fuji 35mm as well....

Just that now occasionally I do feel like I need wide lens for group photo.... or sometimes I feel I need to zoom also when travelling and if stand far away then I need to zoom.... so based on that I guess I can try get the kit lens....

What I need opinion is:
1. Anyone uses the kit lens vs the 18mm prime and is there a big noticeable difference in IQ?
2. any other recommended lens based on my usage above?

Thanks !
*
Get the 18-55 kit lens or 16-55..
