In MIUI8 no longer need access the 4636 menu.
Juz go "setting>simcard & mobile networks>YES 4G>Preferred network type> choose Prefer LTE"
One more thing....set your Locale as India, then you off to go for SMS/Call and LTE data.
Make sure to enable Volte too "setting>simcard & mobile networks>Volte enabled"

They have no 3G/2G backed line.
I'm using for data only. Since umobile too slow widening their 4G coverage.

Yes requires us to turn on VoLTE in order to connect to their network. VoLTE doesn't work on Sim card slot 2 btw

Yup...theirs are TDD-LTE, working on SIM 1 slot only for dual/hybrid smartphone.
VoLTE setting only appear after set Locale = India.
Without enabling VoLTE u cant sms/call, but data still working.

Any phone already have the function since years ago .
Even you set preferred LTE it still will connect to 3g if signal is weak .
Service menu is for you to force LTE and close other connection type .

xiaomi.eu ROM is not as bloated as the Global ROM but still similar to Global ROM. No locale at all in xiaomi.eu ROM
