wanted to test the s5 before buying but the sales person only showed me the non-workable s5 so i only get to see how it looks like

i think the look wise is the same as the old one..

after 3 days fully utilising the laptop, i can say this is one powerful laptop for the price..

manage to overclock the gpu by extra 150mhz and stable.. highest was 180mhz..but it was generating alot of heat fast.. so tone it down to 150mhz..which i think is the sweet spot for stability and thermal ...

Hi wazzzap,

I think we showed some customers a S5 with Nvidia Pascal GPU without OS.

Sorry we didn't have time yet to complete the demo, will finish it once we clear all the backlogs.

As for the IPS display and structure fram, it looks pretty much the same as the old S5.

dont think its the old one... i just bought like 3 days ago.. GTX 1070 GC

it has a built in software ..quite simple to use..

can specify u want to use optimus (intel + gtx1070 switching) or direct use GTX1070 directly..

use gtx1070 will drain battery quicker though..

You can enable mshybrid (intel graphics switching) on BIOS.

Hey Prince J, was that you dealing with me just now in whatsapp? Thanks for making thing clear for me on pricing issue. It was my bad due to Monday blue and so eagerly waiting for the machine.
By the way, changing from single GTX1080 to GTX1070 SLI shouldn't posts any stability issue for P870DM3-G board right?
Hopefully you can expedite the unit for me.
