Pre order a raven on 15aug
Took it on 5sep .
bsod I get on this day alone more than my whole life with oth brand laptop.
Send back to claim warranty on 6sep. Refuse 1to1 exchange. Need to wait till 12sep only can attend my case.
I'm not happy dear illegear.

Do you opt for original windows?

Any idea whats the cause of the BSOD? loose connectors somewhere? I think because Illegear quite a small company and their at ITFair now so no staff to attend to these things. Hopefully they can improve on this though as they do tout their customer service to be a selling point. Update us on what happens next currently considering a raven but I don't live near KL so it'd be a hassle if I got one and it BSOD-ed.

Too many stop code. Hdd,mem, irq bla bla
And worst is I not from kl as well. Purposely go down to collect but shit happen. And of coz original win10.

Hi dupont200,

Just to clarify, we didn't refuse to one-to-one exchange for you. You actually requested for an "one-to-one exchange on the spot without any checking on the system" which is out of our company policy.

You also sent in the laptop one day before the ITFAIR in the evening time, all of us were extremely busy for the booth setup and stock preparation.

I believe our staff also had explained to you that we will be attending to your case right after the ITFAIR.

For BSOD, it could be caused by hardware or software, we will be more than happy to exchange a brand new stock to you if your unit is detected to have a hardware problem.

P/S: According to the technician that assembled your unit, he didn't see any BSOD in the burn-in test before we delivered to you, we will recheck what's the causes.

Hello, im interested in some of your products.

1) does the back of the external gpu have a connector to a monitor? like the alienware graphic amplifier? or do i have to do it like,
monitor >>> laptop <<<external gpu

2) whenever i connect my laptop to the external gpu do i need to restart my laptop? or no need, like the Asus ROG XG station 2.

3) does the S5 model compatible with the external GPU? Like having a thunderbolt 3? extremely interested in the S5 due to the processor upgrade of HK in a 15.6 slim notebook.

4) just curious, is the s5 model compatible with the Asus RoG XG Station 2?

1. Yes there is, at the back of eGPU

2. No need, but it takes some time to detect the eGPU + graphics card.

3. S5 only has USB Type-C, no Thunderbolt 3.

4. You need Thunderbolt 3 for eGPU conenction, only D series and U3 have that.

are drivers from clevo and sager same? coz last month or so, i reset my laptop, i just went to sager websites download drivers

and how often i need to update those drivers?
