bro...whats the result from MPOC. NPL also share their fair bit of fun......almost 50 teams taking part.....good weather....only yesterday hot but still can tahan la....div 3 won by wolverine, div 2 - banzai, div 1 - nemesis.

Let me first congratulate all the teams who were successful in the first leg of the MPOC.You guys did very well and the manner in which it was done is worthy of sportsmanship awards.

I observed that the standards of play has gone up tremendously as is the understanding of the rules....leading to minimum disputes with calls.Sure...there was the odd dissatisfaction but hell...that is part of the sport we love.

I strongly believe our reclassication of the divisions in 2007 has brought us closer to the classifications used in Europe and the USA.Eventually the divisions here will be the same as the divisions of our counterparts in the west.

I still feel that teams using the rentals are disadvantaged and shall continue the policy of encouraging teams to equip themselves adequately.Rentals can no longer cope with needs of the Div 3 in the MPOC and will break down under heavy use.We will also try,as the organiser,to see if this problem can be satisfactorily overcomed.

We have set a few milestones during this leg of the MPOC...

1)Coverage by TV,Press,Radio and Magazines at the same time!!!Highest ever for a local event...

2)A memorable prize giving ceremony...best ever for MPOC..

3)We had the highest ever number of spectators ever...yes some cheered even..

4)We sold paint at the record breaking price level of $150,$160 and $180 respectively.Nope...it was not a sponsored or subsidised rates...it was the MPOC rate...

5)We finished ahead of schedule despite accomodating the VIP visits by the Minister of FT,the Mayor of KL and the media games by the FLY DJs and Crew....of yeah..load of givaways by them,Maskulin and free drinks by F'&'N too.

5).....maybe you noticed something I did not....

In conclusion...I would like to thanx all those who made it happen for the 1st leg of the MPOC

The Malaysian Marshals...as dedicated and patient as ever.

The Admin & Secretariat Crew...you guys were great.

Paul: i think the marshalls better have more exposure as they are slow on paint checks....we really hope that the 2nd league will improve more.

yeap, Marshalls have to definitely improve , though i respect lil Jon's effort to train new breeds of marshalls.

i believe badman hv a lot of stories on this..LoL....

anyway..nice to meet u en.bad

my allied and my team have shoot down some player, but the marshall was just standing and watching only...even when i was playing, i need to tell the marshall only they know i got shot.

i agreed that the marshalling need to be better but did u guys realised that among all the marshalls are non regulars?? which means that the marshall mostly are newbies...this is the time for them to gain experience...we as a player gain the skills through experience...the marshalls too gain expertise through experience...

slowly when u gain ur experience...u will notice that everybody makes mistakes..dont ever shout at the marshalls coz without them...u CAN'T PLAY PAINTBALL....

kudos for the champs either be it NPL or MPOC...

paintball ROCKS!!!

so let's hope 2007 will be a better year for paintball!
