1. Extra key(both walkman and activity menu key) on w810, w800 only hv walkman key.
2. Using D-pad instead of joystick on w800
3. No camera lens cover for w810
4. w810 got flashlite but w800 don't hv (not sure bout this tongue.gif)
5. W810, no need to restart the phone when u want to switch to PHONE MODE when u are in MUSIC ONLY mode or vice versa
6. Better sound quality (some forumers said so)

That's what i can think of now. I am sure others will add-on. Anyway, correct me if I am wrong.
*
let me do some correction as a W800i user. laugh.gif

for bolded no. 4, who said so?! you're wrong, bro. W800i can switch on the flash to use as a torch de lah. laugh.gif

for bolded no. 6, it's firmware dependant, regardless of W800i or W810i, some firmware might upgrade the audio whereas some might downgrade it a little.

and one more to add, W810i is using a newer version of the Walkman Interface. smile.gif

hey man, you got your phone liao, strip it, rape it, explore and exploit it. rclxms.gif see the 3 holes behind your phone?! the speaker is located there. i believe your user manual got say so too. sweat.gif hence the softened speaker volume. it got muffled by your bed.

jus tried my frens' k800i:
1. the problem is the photo file size is very big...v cant change the resolution of picture, if wanna reduce the file size, the only thing can do is reduce the MP, like 3MP reduce to 2MP, but in 2MP mode the resolution is 1632X1224, cant be change oso...it is a waste on file size too... shocking.gif

2. all the taken photo when v view it, it will be "square square" first...after a while only turn to nice picture...isit normal for k800i??

3. whole phone feels a bit slow/lag...dono is my frens' phone problem anot...

4. inside file manager cant use number to become shortcut to all those folder...must use joystick to select and enter all those sound picture folder...tis really is a slow 1... shocking.gif

tat's all the cons i realize for now...
any1 tried k800i b4?? did u guys had the same prob???

Sorry, i didn't stated clearly maybe. Actually i was referring to Macromedia Flashlite not the camera LED flash light tongue.gif

Is it true W810i using the newer version of walkman interface? I don't know about that. I thought both are using same version of walkman. Only w850 using the version 2. If that's true, what's the differences between both of them interms of walkman interface?

1. I think this happens to digital camera also, rite? Once the photo taken, u cannot change the size or MP or resolutions. Then u hv to make sure how important the occasion it is when u want to take photo smile.gif . If among frens play play then maybe can use smaller size. If someone's birthday or wedding, maybe u want to use better MP.
2. I thought i read something about this in cari's forum. Not sure is normal or not. Or maybe is juz firmware problem.
3. Slow no matter what u are doing? unsure.gif
4. Not so sure what u mean coz i didn't hv chance to play with K800 yet so don't know is it a new features or not hmm.gif

hard surface: reflect sound, either increase or reduce audibility

soft surface: absorb sound, reduce audibility

that all explain why!

Yeah, i think the design of the back of the phone is good in this matter. When u put the phone on hard surface, near the camera area there is space between the hard surface and ur phone. So the speaker isn't really being covered.
