pharmacy is a regulated profession, and you need registration to work, and needs a compulsory 1 year pupilship....the problem is, there are too many pharmacists graduating, and thus not enough pupil jobs....hence waiting list...
biotech is a non-regulated course, is not considered a profession, and hence there is no restriction on where and what type of job you can do.....

QUOTE(kingkingyyk @ Aug 19 2016, 09:43 AM) I know someone who graduated from biotech working in Durex. as i said above....biotech is not a regulated profession, and one can find job in almost anywhere.... pharnacy is a regulated profession, and you are restricted by the need to be registered.... there are pros and cons in both.....

a sound foundation in all sciences is an essential asset for medical studies....not just biology, or chemistry...
your 4a at a levels will be enough to get into any ipts med school, since the minimum is only a dismally low bbb....but will not get you into ipta, nor singapore...
feynman is telling you to get basic life skills, which is more important than any knowledge you acquire in uni....as the majority of people do NOT use what they learn in uni, when they work....(exception is of course, professional courses)...

QUOTE(sonyfanzz @ Aug 23 2016, 09:56 PM) i failed to get matrik...A level mckl offer me full scholarship so I go...plus more I hope for JPA to go oversea at beginning but who knows suddenly jpa cancel..... that is my sister and my mum plan... edit:ipta didnt offer me anything as well with a levels, you can only apply to usm and um....and they take in few outside the mainstream pre-u...the rest of ipta are closed to you... did you qualify for jpa bursary scholarship?...if not, then the only jpa scholarship is that for the top 10 unis, or critical courses in top 10 (earlier 50) unis...did you apply to ucas for these unis?....you are unlikely to get into these places without at least one a*... QUOTE(sonyfanzz @ Aug 23 2016, 10:47 PM) yes..never heard of this way b4... using this way can get degree in ipta easily ? you don't even know what you want to do now, you are thinking about diploma?.... diploma is for people who knows what they want to do, and is usually a 3 years course after spm....you can work after....of you can then go into a top up programme to continue to a degree in the same field, usually another 2-3 years...
