Hmm maxspeed is only 2mbps, maybe you need to wait a little bit long time except you gather a list of people to apply unifi. Because my neighbour same jalan odd number have unifi except the last house, even number house do not have unifi and maxspeed is 2mbps and you know the unifi of the odd number house was installed 5/6 years before. I think TM give up to extend unifi to the even number house and next few jalan also do not have unifi.

I believe that after 2 years, TM will charge the upgraded Streamyx users with normal price (RM129)

my dad told me this afternoon Unifi called my dad. They said, only installation and equipment are FREE. But still have to pay RM129 per month (100mbps) (no discount from OKU) i shocked n don't want RM129 cos quite expensive. i currently RM66 (1mbps streamyx) with OKU and no offer unifi.. if RM50 per month 10mbps or 20mbps. i ok

I didn't get the RM 30. I was in the middle class RM 80 - RM 129. Imagine i was RM 129, why am i going to pay same price but for the lower speed which i can get for 100Mbps package. 

I don't understand why unifi cost is lower than streamyx.
suppose streamyx using old telephone wire which already implement long time ago so the cost should be very cheao while unifi they need to install new cable for it.

Also, dont forget about the "no port" excuse. Some conspiracy theory, not sure if true, those who are paying lesser than streamyx normal rate, RM110 and below would be expecting they get upgraded to unifi for free at same rate. However, even when the infra is already there, TM intentionally delay their upgrade to frustrate them, make them take the bait to self upgrade to RM129 and locked for another 2 years. This way, subscribers lost their old pricing.

Unifi Lite 10Mbps (copper) plan, which is 10Mbps Down/ 5Mbps Up.

What I did was I applied to switch to Unifi via the portal. They called up and offered me the standard packages for 30Mbps and 100Mbps. So I asked them why I wasn't given any special upgrade? The customer service only then told me about the 10Mbps plan. She said
1) it will be at the current subscription rate I was paying. I did ask if I could get it for RM80 but they said no. So my current subscription is RM90.
2) No quota.
3) there is no contract.
4) price includes some free call minutes (can't remember how many minutes).
5) can watch free channels on Unifi Play TV app.

Technician will be coming to install tomorrow (Sunday) so I will update if all above is true.

Yes, I was paying RM90 for my 2Mbps Streamyx. I read somewhere that some people were offered the upgrade at RM80 so that's why I asked.

Today the technicians came to install. So I am now on Unifi Lite 10Mbps (On the self-service portal, it is referred to "unifi Lite 10Mbps HE Lite (3M)"). The plan comes with STD20 Voice plan, Ruby Plus Pack and "Promo Discount Perpetual" (so guess the price is fixed). So far so good. Now waiting if they will Turbo me to 100Mbps

Users must take the highest plan if his area can support. Then good enough.

Different speed same price probably will break some laws. Unless they hide the speed or amend the terms like flat price rm69. And mention speed will vary according to area. But this will look stupid though. Lol.

Definitely will face issue. Example you got few franchise kfc. Ss2 you selling 2 chicken for Rm69, then ss3 you selling 4 chicken at Rm69. You can be sued.
