I did read last time when it first came out , but not sure their T&C change and I don't want to create a thread asking for modem only.Maybe I will do so if I need to buy them.
The digi thread is about 200 pages or more , if I was to ask question it'd take some time to get reply and to read it take times and doing so search still need to ask question , might as well as ask someone who actually active here and using them.
If some telco offer unlimited data or maybe usage up till 10TB with free 4G modem , why not getting them ? but still 3,4G suffer form high ping and not suitable for those who wanted an online game.

Best solution , just extend the unifi coverage to us asap and reduce price of streamyx >50% until unifi available.

Did you try using p2p , because i read someone need to use VPN because digi did capped p2p ? how is the ping ? Stable speed during peak ? I know the stability is different upon area but still hoping it'll be as good as my requirement 10mpbs up and 10mpbs down on streaming and p2p.
The modem is still pricy but we really can purchase at tmpoint at that price , warranty ?

Anyhow , 10mb you can hardly watch Full HD streamyx for 2 user.

Yeh, try upload using 384kb whatsapp video to friends , Not only it takes over 30 minuites for 50mb All my download and stream stop if upload speed meet the max of 33kb.Full Upload all Download halt.

No luck - Non-SUBB.Time to visit > 10x times again for demand of unifi cable.
Try and list out the address using google map and draw a map on respective area of unifi vs streamyx.Maybe they can get a unifi if really near your area.

Btw , anyone know why some area was not in unifi list ? it is just 50m a head of next neighbour.Tech support contract user here ?

Not sure , I really don't know how they actually contract the unifi area cable.If it was to lay the fibre , it would be the whole area.
Case even happen at our area for example ,
Lorong Hijau 2 got unifi , Lorong Hijau 7 only got streamyx , check is non-subb.

Can teach us the easiest method to do the mapping ? I finish doing it but it takes time when I need to find the address by by address to mark the availability area.
Agree price needed to be drop but I priority 1 is unifi.
It's technologry 1 day streamyx will not able to even load a website.I believe it would happen.Like old days our 56kb modem can search every website last 1998 until 2004 all website are heavy loaded with script ajax and flash.
Now , all HTML5 + java and etc surely one day most website will get more heavy loaded.
Try browsing some automobile car maker website , like toyota honda and etc , bmw merz.It takes 30sec to 1 minuites to load a page another 1 minuites plus to load other s ub categories directory.
With unifi , it just take less than 5 seconds.
Years later youtube , will have 720p default.All video upload by user will be at 720p.
Like you'll hardly see any video with 144p ?
I would suggest create a whatsapp or facebook as a main post for all to gather & summit.
I prefer TIME than maxis.

You should try to borrow a 4G phone , buy 3 main telco and test for the speed.Try testing which is better on your area since as I know , KL is much better than other state on mobile network.

2. Why defending where if open market will help TM staff salary increase ? Lets say TIME will employee more TM staff which experience , maxis will do the same with more benefits to whom with experience and so on.
3. TM staff if you all willing to support streamyx user or not , there is still no loss.Heard some are at hourly paid even TIME/Maxis promoter gets RMxx incentive.Just hope TIME or Maxis will able to expend their fibre.

4. If all streamyx user are converted to unifi , not sure how many would understand , in 4-10 years later , 300Mbps in a household family of 5 will be normal.
At that time , 4K video is common streaming 30mb bandwidth peruser.If our minister willing to upgrade on RTM, 4k and 8k will be basic of video stream , youtube and etc.Soon , unifi user will also willing to upgrade.Tm also will Cooperate with Minister and user demand by adding more packages = more profits.
5. Lastly , streamyx, TM staff should know not everyone currently at 2018 utilize the whole 100mbps speed.At most at peak hours , 5/24 hours will be fully utilize.The remaining 18 hours more will be empty.Take example of digi 12am-7am promotion free 1GB.So we just want something simple during the peak hour.What is wrong moving forward from 2G to 4G LTE as we all know technology will get advance day by day.

6. To have a win-win situation as for now , lay a fibre if the area is less than 500m radius to the unifi port.If those rural area above the radius , let Maxis or TIME to take over.Those really rural , have extra packages like unifi mobile coverage install.
Remove those hypptv which wasting of bandwidth and no one is watching or if wanted to compete with astro, add more On demand video which same as njoi prepaid , pay per episode.Will to buy if there is live with other country movie/series RM10 per season.
Tm will earn much more if they we to do so.

The damage was done before GE14 now should get improve.Please , any tm staff should understand 100mbps vs 4mpbs = 4mbps with RM140 or RM10 extra than unifi while speed is 25 times lower.If copper infrastructure is hard to maintain or already sub contract out to those contractor , try and nego. I think as our PM said, those contractor which associate and fail to maintain SOP should get cancel.
