Here's the letter.
Basically it shows those new registration with household lower than rm1500/m can get RM88...WHICH mostly it's kinda hidden and no one really knows bout it..so those who income rm1500/m per household makesure you ASK for the RM88/m for 4Mbps instead of the expensive price.. well at least now everyone knows.

also about the rm88/m for other package..they didnt mention about it. And for now they only set my streamyx 4mbps to RM130... last time they said cant be done and have to terminate..but now boleh pulak.

to those who masih tak puas hati..keep pressing them on skmm cfm report..until you get the discount.

sigh.. the power of monopoly..
I guess the only way to get their attention is bug them via skmm cfm report.. calling 100 or go tmpoint is kinda useless..

maybe someone can highlight to tribunal pengguna after this? lol

I guess I am one of the lucky user. 4 mbps@ RM 88, free cheapo tablet (intel inside) got free 1 year iflix access some more. activated earlier this year. last time the income bracket lower than RM 5k. now RM 1.5k? I was told that the RM 88 package was subsidized by the government. Since now our govt got a lot of debt/bocor everywhere, maybe they called off this offer.

I felt pity to my dad since he is paying a full price 4 mbps @ RM 140. He was a loyal customer since 1996 during the tm net 1515 dial up era. not even a cent discount offered bangwall.gif

as far as I'm aware, this plan is not available in klang valley and only for selected states.

I don't really understand what is so difficult for them to offer RM130/4mbps for you since they are only add "discount" to your current plan. They didn't even modify your existing package. Hence, no new order number was created for you.

yes, but since I think in klang valley might got unifi service, better go for unifi since the price is quite ok. RM 199 for 30 mbps compared to RM 140 only 4mbps

you might be surprise if the neighboring taman with Unifi and the Taman beside doesn't covered by Unifi. so area even after crossing a bridge and it doesn't covered by Unifi. 199 vs 140 comparison or what ever price comparison doesn't make sense if our residential area doesn't covered by Unifi. same goes to Time broadband as it only covers high rise.

that is why need to send skmm cfm complaint as many as possible.

others if you dont get the discount (well rm10 still better than nothing).. send cfm emails, or via the complaint cfm link on first post.

it's 2016 and yet we still paying the same rate..but quality keep detereoting..

I compare it to our streamyx 4 mbps @ RM 140. so for unifi got better price/speed ratio.

no choice, some of us use the optimizer in one of the lowyat thread. you can have a look on that, a friend of mine using it for his puny 512k. Asked TM to upgrade they said cannot be done, now he got 2 mbps paying the price of 512k. i think the optimizer TS is a officer in TM since he got access to all those speed profile settings. our ADSL2+ really can get as fast as 24mbps if you are close enough to the TM DSLAM box
