what do you mean?

when they're being attacked n stuff?

For me everyday when i want to claim the 100G (max limit 100 only) whereby you have 10 pokemons deployed at each gym at that moment, i just check the coins. 10G indicates one pokemon is defending a gym, 20 = 2 pokemons and so on.

There are two login methods:

1. Google Login
2. PTC

If you register a new PTC account and login your PTC account in the game, you will get the save file from your PTC account, in this case, a fresh start.

They aren't linked so for those who want to restart the progress, they can use this trick without having to register a new Google account.

They are using separate login server so if PTC is down, you won't be able to login till it gets fixed and vice versa.

PTC is just like another google account.
But PTC records all your pokemon games info (Pokemon game series, Pokemon TCG, Pokemon TCG Online, Pokemon Go....)

You can view your details on PTC website if you have a PTC account.

Google account in this game is just a "plain" account and doesn't have any frontend interface/website which is solely for the authentication and cloud save purpose only.

Many people have chosen to use Google login because no registration is required and PTC registration was closed in the last few weeks due to massive traffic jams laugh.gif

TBH i dont see the point of using PTC account unless you do play the pokemon series (Nintendo DS onwards) or Pokemon TCG (real or online).
Cause they record your online rankings as well as your local tournament rankings for those games. smile.gif

Meaning to say, I can put my Pokemon into the Gym if it's already taken over by Team Mystic.
The only option given to me is to fight the Gym whenever I'm close to a blue colour Gym.

Why is that?

You need to check the level and prestige of the gym, if it is level 2 then the gym can have 2 Pokémon from the same team and so forth.

Fight (or in another word, "train") the gym to increase the prestige level so you can put your own Pokémon there.

You got 2 options:
1) Battle a friendly gym to increase the gym Prestige. When gym reaches a new level, it can accommodate another Trainer to Defend the gym.
2) Once there is an empty spot, you can assign 1 of your pokemons to help defend the place.

use my lucky egg + incense.

yes u can.
but i suggest u keep lucky egg for evolving.
get lots of pidgeys for evolution, then use lucky egg before evolving all of them.

Yes, many redditors said they are able to stack them up.

But if you want to level up faster, it is better to use your lucky egg when you have at least 60+ pidgey/weedle/caterpie waiting to be evolved (make sure you have enough candies too), 1000 EXP per evolve so you can easily farm 60000 EXP in just 30 minutes.

Haha, the evolution animation lasts for 20 seconds, add 10 more seconds for you to click the next Pokémon to evolve it so you can do 2 evolution in 1 minute, you can get at least 60 evolution in 30 minutes, that's 60000 EXP.

If your finger is fast and have a fast phone then it can be 65 - 70 evolution, I tried yesterday, was able to hit 68 biggrin.gif

Thanks man, lets say after I've increased the Prestige and successfully placed my Pokemon in the Gym.

Someone came to challenge, defeated my Pokemon but lost the battle to the other stronger Pokemon,
Will I still be able to hold that Gym, or my defeated Pokemon will be sent back to me while the strong Pokemon stays?

No, if the attacker failed to lower down the prestige point then your Pokémon will stay in the gym.

Gym level follows its prestige point and 2000 prestige points are needed for each level.

yeah, but it is pain to my eyes to see ANY VALOR at all, last night camped for a good 30minute trying to bring down HP cyberjaya's gym (lvl 7 valor gym down to lvl 3)
couldnt defeat those snorlax and dragonite.

Hello Team Mystic. Some tips below. Probably known by the more experienced but may be helpful to beginners.

Save your lucky egg for a mass evolve. Collect a whole bunch of candies for the cheapo pokemons like Pidgey, Rattata and Caterpie. Then break out a lucky egg for double XP. Lucky egg is active for 30 mins or 1800 secs. If you're real fast, say, 25 seconds for each evolve, you can evolve 72 pokemons for 72000 points.

Legitimate fake location If you're indoors at home, check to see if there's any difference in your location when your wifi is off and on. If there is, toggle your wifi every few minutes. That'll get you moving a little bit. It's not much but I find it good for hatching those 1.9/2.0km eggs.

Pokestop No. 10 If you spin 10 different pokestops. The 10th one will give you double XP and more items. Not sure but there may be a time frame of 30 mins in which you have to go through all the 10 pokestops.

Gym Pokecoins If you managed to put a pokemon into a gym, immediately, go and collect your 10 pokecoins. Many beginners seem to miss this.

Hatching Eggs Hatch your 2km eggs first. Delay as much as possible until your level is higher before you start hatching your 5km and 10km eggs.

Just some rough calculation for Pokemon Go humor

Lets just say:
For every 4 Pidgeys, we transfer 3.
So we get 15 Candies and 1 Leftover Pidgey.

To get 60000 XP would require:
60 Pidgeys + 720 Candies + 1 Lucky Egg
(Assuming we only evolve 60 Pidgeys in 30min)

So for 1 Lucky Egg Batch of 60000XP, I would need to:
Catch 204 Pidgeys and transfer 114 of them.

For simplification purposes Im gonna disregard these 2:
1) Extra 36 Candies from catching 204 Pidgeys
2) Extra 60 Candies from transferring Pidgeottos

Now we need 20million XP from LV1 to 40.
(Assuming we dont take any other XP into account)
so 20000000 / 60000 = 333 Batch
333 X 204 Pidgeys per Batch
= 68000 Pidgeys to catch

Time to catch those fucking overpopulated birds people.

but my area all magikarps. so even with 5 gyardos, my level is pretty low despite already caught 1.8K pokemons lol (i am forced to buy pokeballs with cash:sweat:)

UH!!! TEAM MYSTIC REPRESENT!!! from Bangi. Taman Tasik Cempaka is the best place to hunt if you happen to be in Bangi. Lots of Poketstops. Park is open 24 hours. McDonald nearby has two pokestops. At night players lepak at the skatepark. Peak hour is around 5.30pm-7.30pm. But you'll see many players at any time - they probably play 24 hour non stop lol

You cant put a pokemon thats not at full health in a gym. Which is why you cant immediately select the pokemon you battled with.

I see I see. But I normally max up the smallest pokemon before evolving them to take advantages of cheaper star dust cost. So it all runs down to luck at the end of the day.

i do an average 60 a day by camping 5-6 hours hehehe

stock up potion+revive and fight gym..one lvl3 gym give 450 + 150 exp = 600exp every 5mins.

Find places with alot pokestops nearby also.

No other ways d after lvl20..hardworking is the key

strongest pokemon is snorlax CP 2070. lick and body slam.

found at: tesco ara damansara last sunday while shopping. ran from one end to another end trying to find the shadow.

caught at 1.8k. then use candy from snorlax egg to upgrade.

Caught one Dratini at Rothman roundabout in front of Lisa de Inn while waiting for traffic light. Sin Chew clocktower gym is opposite the road.

SS2 would have quite some Oddish, around sun hing loong there.

Growlithe still very random to me.

wait until you reach level 25....

Went here this afternoon. This area is virtually filled with trainers, and a perfect hotspot for lure, magikarp, psyduck, crabby and dratini. Easily can get 500 magikarp candy if could spend 3 hours there.

due to public holidays i camp there 6 days in the row from morning till evening laugh.gif have like 6 dos and 6 nites.
(a hint.. by the sea near jamie's italian... there are scheduled spawns of dragonair. i usually encounter 3-4 a day. that's how i got my dragonite)

today i was able to conquer 4 gyms and collect 40 coins. thanks to team instinct because they help me to fight off our OP teammates and they put their low cp pkm to defend, so i was able to use just 1 of my atking pkm to conquer them.

There was 1 gym in teratai that was level 7, i can't even go there to level up becoz the pkm defending the gym is too powerful. but this morning i saw it is gone and took over by team instinct, took the chance to take over.

A place like vivocity, nobody has to worry about pokeball. Have a 10 mins break. Walk around the 6 pokestop twice . Sure can replenish one. Anyhow I went there again today and as usual , got enough candies to get 1 gyarados and 2 golduck. Not too much krabby came out today but there are a few kingler. Dratiniwise today is a good day. Caught 10 inside 3 hours, which mean 1 dratini in every 18 minutes. But no luck with dragon air or dragonite. Oh well, maybe next time.

i was at titiwangsa yesterday. stood at a very strategic 3 poke stops with lure module! i saw them catching some good ones BUT me and my friend got none! nothing appear! WE WERE SO DOWN~~~ GG line~~ is it because GG line slow so pokemon wont appear??

Sometimes yea, the app needs to sync with the server when you move or when server refreshes the nearby Pokemon list.

When your network is slow to sync then it will cause some delays.

If they use incense then you won't see the Pokemon spawned by it.

You mean...even after Lure activated at that 3 pokestops, you got nothing? Not even one pokemon appear.?

Hmm..that's odd. I always farm my magikarp at that same place. This morning not many magikarp but a few dratinis and one high CP Gyarados appear.

aih.. i did use incense also.. but none.. omg... all the way jam to titiwangsa.. then went to petaling street.. none.. haha.. also bad luck.. haha. probably i should change to maxis?

No need change telco unless your current one really sucks in all the locations you visit frequently.

Incense only benefits the activator, meaning you won't see what he/she sees and he/she won't see what you see too, it is totally independent.

really seriously. me and my friend stood there the 3 stops.. we stood there 20 min.. none.. when we walk around the lake we caught magikarp, psyduck, slowpoke n some small ones..

Saturday night network always problem. Error..no GPS and sometimes the phone hang while fishing there. I believe that because that place too crowded..LOL.

If too crowded I usually change my Umobile to Maxis. Less problem.

Lol today at noon another snorlax infront of my house. Call some of my friend and everyone manage to catch it together. Btw my house area is guarded so hard for outsider to come in LOL

just that my area can easily found zubat, they even follow me around my house area, never leave even after log out the game 30mins and return.

Why you no like Jolteon?
Thou its CP is lowest among the three Eevee evolution...Jolteon most effective against water and flying opponents. I even beat Snorlax 1400CP a few times with my 1100CP Jolteon. It also one of a few pokemon that can bring much damage to the mighty Dragonite.

guys 1 question.... when we try to fight a gym... did the team that been choosen for our team is random or auto team base on enemy we fight? cause my team keep changing when i fight another gym that have different pokemon in it

after rename eevee you need to restart pokemongo before evolution start.
the rename only valid for one and first time of evo each type. after that radom.

It is chosen based on the weaknesses. But sometimes the system is quite dump, it only takes the final Pokemon in the Gym as consideration, so for example, if the Gym has 2 Pokemon in defense, the weaker one being an electric type Pokemon and the final "boss" as fire type Pokemon, the first chosen Pokemon in your list might be a water type Pokemon (water > fire), but you might lose out in the first battle, since electric > water.

Caught 1 Dratini so far at lvl 23, and caught a DRADONITE ! with 76% CP just 2 days ago at KLCC cold storage , feel like invest some star dust into it ,is it worth it ? any sifu?

There's nothing you can do bout IV stuff. It's permanent already. Yes you can power up your Dragonite since it have a good moveset. Try give it a fight at gym and see how it goes. Learn how to dodge, how and when to use your special power, when to attack and when to retreat in battle.

i try slide non stop and my pokemon keep moving side but still getting hit even though enemy is facing other side...

Can..we can dodge right or left by sliding the screen. I always do this when the enemy start using its special power.
But this move sometimes not smooth maybe to niantic server not so good. It comes out like sortta bit jerking/delay moves.

Go you tube see some video. Got some good guide on dodging. One thing to know is not all attack can be dodge and dodging duccessfully does not means 100% wont kena hit.

Of course you can choose, you just cannot put a non full HP Pokemon in the gym.

Can choose, but your non-full HP mons will not show in your list. Don't take too long to choose, or someone else will put one in. Sort your mons by your criteria before you whack the gym, such as CP, or what. So if you win, you can select from your mons sorted by CP, etc.

Some people put a cheap mon in, like a CP/HP20 mon, and quickly collect the coins. The mon will be defeated in minutes, and can be fully healed with a revive and the cheapest potion. No matter which powerful mon you put in, it will be defeated, it's just a matter of time.

I just calculated. It will take about 98K stardust to power up my 97% IV Vaporeon from 1.2K CP to 2.3K cry.gif

As for my 89% IV Dragonite with 2.2K CP, it will take 70K Stardust to power up to about 2.9K CP

Currently only have like 170K stardust. Trainer level 22. cry.gif

My cousin working at Solaris mk too. Just above the Starbucks. My mom went to mbb last Friday and I've to wait in the car but still managed to caught few hehe. My brother caught kabuto in Publika. I also saw some of pokemons that I haven't get in my sightings. So far these are my catch! 😁

My cousin working at Solaris mk too. Just above the Starbucks. My mom went to mbb last Friday and I've to wait in the car but still managed to caught few hehe. My brother caught kabuto in Publika. I also saw some of pokemons that I haven't get in my sightings. So far these are my catch! 😁

I'm using go radar as well but can't rely to it since spawn keep on changing. I better go to the place where I know I can really catch them. If you found them quite a lot, the IV might be low.

Im actually hoping to get best attacking move set (Dragon breath + Dragon claw) instead of best defensive move set , i got another 1 with CP 2.2k have Dragon breath + Hyper beam instead of dragon claw . No sure about dragon claw tho , is it that good compare with other skill ? hmm.gif

Steel wing/dragon pulse are the best moveset for defending gym.
This moveset will counter most attackers especially fairy type such as wigglypuff that well known as dragon slayer if that dragonite have dragon breath.

Power it up a bit more if you have tons of stardust but no need to get really high CP.

I think it has changed. Jalan Tasik Permaisuri 1 has 3 pokestops near the road. Last time for 3 nights after work around 8pm to 9pm I dropped by and got Voltorbs, but I tried again just now and I only got the usual suspects and Psyduck and Krabby.

Evolve it lar. 2nd gen quite a long way to go. Can still hunt for more eevees. Moveset after evolve most probably will be strong.

ic. mostly i station around the taman tasik, though the spawn rate might be familiar with titiwangsa but eventually not. haven't got any psyduck too, but sometimes got 1 or 2 magikarp. cheers.

i've evolve about 10 eevees now, after the previous updates of 0.35 ver, i only got vaporeon most of the time, 1 flareon and no jolteon... really random now, might need a lot of high iv eevee to get what we want.

Cheras area now changing. Last time rately found any fire or rock type, now suddenly got Geodudes and Ponytas... random spawn of Snorlax Dragonite and Magmar even (i lost a 1k cp Magmar, ran after 1st ball, but caught a 10cp, wth doh.gif )

I am from ss2 area. Native gym is Creepy Peeper. Any gym around 17, 14 are bonus. You attack gym with a gang or something?

my only team is colleagues at work, far from home

once there's a team of 3, I'll post in Mystic Whatsapp group to get another 4 more. Plan to bubblestrat and retain using 7 x Snorlax

anyway, from what i observe, section 17 is very active, gyms get taken down pretty quickly
