Excluding the legendaries, these are the top 6 highest CP as of now;

1) Dragonite
2) Snorlax
3) Arcanine
4) Lapras
5) Exeggutor
6) Vaporeon

I included the 6th because Vaporeon is relatively easy to get while Snorlax is difficult to get & Lapras is extremely difficult to get.

Ideally those are the ones worth continuously powering up, especially those with defensive move set and IV 80% & beyond. So that you can sit comfortably in a gym for a longer time.

For my attacker team, I generally leave it hovering between CP2k to 2.3k only. No need to overkill, plus it makes leveling up gym easier. Saving my stardust for defender team only.

At this rate, whereby Dragonites plague all the gyms, we only need Clefable & Slowbro in the attacker team. My CP2k Slowbro can take down a CP2.6k Dragonite pretty well.

ice beam is effective against dragonite

Ideally would be a Slowbro with Confusion & Ice Beam la.

But I'm still very comfortable with my Water Gun & Ice Beam move set, because Water Gun has a very fast cooldown. So it's easier to dodge Dragonite's charged move with Water Gun even though Dragonite resist Water attacks. On the other hand, Dragonite takes extra damage from Ice attacks.

Clefable just need to learn Moonblast, that's all it needs. Mine decided to learn Dazzling Gleam & another one learned Psychic instead.....damn.

Clefable is good vs Dragon Breath Dragonite while Slowbro is good vs Steel Wing Dragonite.

My only pound/moonblast clefable only iv69 so kinda reluctant to invest on it

Or use seadra with dragon breath & dragon pulse. My 1.3 k seadra easily takes down 2.5 k dragonites (albeit needs dodging). All dragonite move sets are not super effective against seadra.

Don't forget golducks also have icebeam and can be paired with confusion or water gun also.

Also used magneton & cloysters before against dragonites. Serious killer DMg though they have even lower cps

Can get a mixture of the top 4 is good enough already ler. Relatively easy to get but sadly only the bottom 3 can learn Blizzard.

You're supposed to dodge the charged moves. But it's fine, 3x CP2k Slowbro can take down 2x CP3.5k Dragonite.....damn worth it.

Yea when lag, the Move name will appear after it attacked. So best is to watch out for the yellow flash or at least recognize the animation. But animation also sometimes lag one, most reliable is the yellow flash.
More real pigs to come in the future generation pokemons.

If it's a good Iv why not? Anyways I've yet to piwer up my seadras (stardust so lacking). I just used my evolved ones from horsea. Have about 4-5 of them with cp around 1.2, 1.3k. One or 2 has the DB & DP moveset while the others have water gun either with ice or with DP.

Seriously love them coz they're good for training against dragonites (and not just attacking enemy gyms).

I always thought bug type is effective against exegutor? Which insect is best ?

I know arcanine is best but I try to use lower cp to bring up prestige.

One more problem, I am always sniped by someone to a level 10 gym.

Felt so frustrating after winning and sniped by someone. Wat can u do??

Yeah but imo, no matter which bug type used...at 50% cp... Zen headbutt will still do major hurt and solar beam will one shot it.

See that little clefable... it took out a 2.8K d.breath dragonite that some genius think is a good idea for gym defense.

Looking for Valorian in Melaka to take down those level 10 Mystic and Instinct Gym.

anyone know how to read all IV pokemon in fast way? Dont really want to key in one by one CP, HP & dust to analys. Previously using pgnexus.gg. Dunno what happen to that pgnexus.gg now cant use anymore.

Team mystic dragonite warong auntie keep defending the gym next to her stall. Bloody took a bunch of us attackers more than 45 min to take it down.

539K is alot  I have 10% of urs only at any one time.

Since u level 29 already... can start using them since u should already be catching close to max wild catcheable pokemons.

I wouldn't waste too much on the gyarados though. It's quite useless

Catching dragonite... ultra balls not reaching, the fear that it'll run away.. is a psychological game. Just imagine its a zubat will help.
