sifu , got a question about dragonite moveset .

i ran through lots of website , most of them said dragon claw + dragon breath is the best attacker .

steel wing and dragon pulse is the best defender .

link above state that dragon breath + hyperbeam is the best attacker .
i have a self evolved dragonite 96IV ( dragon breath + hyper beam) , Another one is 89IV (dragon breath + dragon pulse) ..

question is , is it worth to invest power up on the 96IV breath + beam ? or should i wait until i lucky enough to get a breath + claw /:

and certain website stat that crit is now not implemented yet although is in the code , so for now the dps diff is minimal for claw vs beam .

but if crit hit is implemented , claw will have 25% chance to crit while beam only have 5% .

D: so hard to decide , and damn ... no luck at all to get a good IV with breath and claw .

for attacking i like quick skill ... for my snorlax , i love my lick + body slam , its really quick and fun to use . compare to my headbutt + beam snorlax .

so its a go to power up the breath + beam dragonite right  .

im kinda bored to find another 125 dratini candy to evolve into a dragonite thats not breath + claw . 

True..and moveset also same.
Am really jelly when see other get higher CP while mine really low CP.
After thinking i let it go coz no point keeping it if need feeding with so much stardust and candies.

That only a bit different  on CP bro. Atleast still within  1K range.
Am at level 26 only get to see CP 383 while one friend caught a 1.8k and another get 1.5k. Feel like wanna throw the phone...LOL

there's 3 gym in usj 2 , 2 in the field , 1 infront of a house opposite of summit mall .

then 1 gym at summit hotel bus stop .

but long time didn't saw snorlax sighting edi now lately ..
when i catch them im around 25-29 level i think . just reached 30 now .

IV's Explained

Each type of Pokemon has a base set of attributes for Stamina, Attack and Defence. Each specific Pokemon is "born" with it's own IV (individual values), that further increase these stats by 0-15 extra points. You can not change the IV's, not all Pokemon are born equal.
These IV's make small differences in the final power of a Pokemon. For example, the base attributes of a Charizard are 212, 182, 156. This would be the "worst" charizard available where all IV's are zero. With max IV's, a Charizard would have 227, 197, 171. Each of these Atk, Def and Stam values for Charizard are only 7-10% better.
Nonetheless, if having the absolute best Pokemon is critical to you, this tool wll help you find the hidden IV values that your Pokemon has so you can decide to keep it or try for something better. Absolute perfection isn't just having the best IV's, the "perfect" Pokemon would have both maximum IVs AND the best Moveset possible. Note that your Pokemon's maximum level is governed by your trainer level. To level yourself up faster, and therefore gain access to leveling up your Pokemon further, check out XP Batching.
This tool uses the two following formulas and the inputs you provide about your Pokemon to attempt to identify its IVs:
HP = (Base Stam + Stam IV) * Lvl(CPScalar)
CP = (Base Atk + Atk IV) * (Base Def + Def IV)^0.5 * (Base Stam + Stam IV)^0.5 * Lvl(CPScalar)^2 / 10
Note that Pokemon have hidden levels and each level requires two "Power-Ups", this tool will display Level 4.5 if your Pokemon has had one Power-Up after level 4.

ytd went to PD waterfront again, notice the hype is dying down over there, hardly any lure on when i arrive, and not as many players as there was compared to two weeks ago.

anyways, summary of my catches ytd,

tons of other common pokemons

i will go again this friday night, hopefully more ppl will put lures, get better catches,

btw anybody notice the pokemons hatched IVs recently not so good? previsouly all my pokemons from hatches will always give me 80% and above IVs, recently i notice not anymore, lik random d.....hmmmm

i just hatched another one so now total 3. BTW which should i power up. 80iv with zen headbutt n solar beam or 84iv with lick and earthquake? any pros can suggest? both same cp 1.7k from egg.

I have another CP 1352 Vaporeon and with Hydro Pump

Should I power up the better moveset or the higher CP... in a dilemma now.

i think u are saying hyperbeam instead of solar beam right .

most of the website said best attacking snorlax is lick + body slam . as body slam have the highest DPS . defensive snorlax they said is headbutt + hyperbeam .

DPS for lick and headbutt is almost same , i personally tried it in the gym . i like lick more than headbutt when i atk , its much faster ... body slam vs hyperbeam , i like hyperbeam more .

but earthquake is not that good because no stab bonus ..

so if u want to power it up , headbutt + beam is the better choice compare to earthquake .

Lol so happening. I just wanna unleash my 2600 caught in the wild dragonite. Only to find out a lot of ppl has 3000 plus already lol.

hatched another charmander from 2KM egg, btws, anybody here hatched a bulbasour from their 2KM eggs? for its 0 bulbasour...ever....

Yes. But Since I dont have any Water Pulse Vaporeon, I was thinking to power up the aqua tail to use as defender.

I have 7 amazing Vaporeon, 4 Hydro Pump, 3 Aqua Tail... I dont have problem with good Vaporeon supply I just dont have any water pulse vaporeon.

I'm team Valor too.. but i seldom play because my phone always no GPS signal when inside the building :sob:

firstly question , so we are able to catch starter pokemon on their nest with good IV ? like charmander in Dataran ? because all the charmander i caught at dataran , appraise is confirm "may not be great in battle " 

and why catching wild snorlax and dragonite with good iv will be much harder?
i tot the IV for wild rare pokemon like snorlax and dragonite are random ?
because among all 11 snorlax i caught ,
IV random at : 42 , 51 , 53 , 53 , 55 , 60, 62 , 67 , 71 , 82 , 96 .

dragonite caught 3 , IV : 71 , 73 , 93 .

so the new scaling  , does it mean will give 0% IV to wild snorlax and dragonite ? where the old scaling wont ?
