Har?! Ur fren what time caught the Dragonite? sad.gif
Everytime I go there also no Dragonite for me.
I think i farm candies and evolve 1 sua..
I was there from 3pm til 8pm today.
Stardust increased about 10-15k laugh.gif
Yea! My strong pokemon also all water-type, lol.
I need more fire type also.. My best fire so far is Flareon..
*
3.09pm the Dragonite spawned right in the middle of the hot spot; the two side by side PokeStop.

Flareon has good damage, but damn slow & very taufu. Hence hard to dodge & takes loads of damage, if fail to dodge enemy's ultimate move....confirmed quite useless de.

I using XS flareon. Quick dodge.
Taufu, yes... Haha. But ok la good to kill Grass type.
*
I got a XS Flareon also......but macam not any faster also lol. Maybe I'll try observer again. The only trick to KO grass type with Flareon is to dodge their Solar Beam. If my Flareon makan the Solar Beam also, still will KO first against the grass type lol bangwall.gif

Like most of the guys mentioned here, looks like its bad IV. So far, my bulbasaur, charmanders & squirtle caught in the wild had really bad IVs (best was like 60 percentish)

I did hatch a Charmander that had a 75% IV while I caught a Pikachu with 90%+ IV but when I evolve, got the brick charge move which absolutely suck. Rest of pikachus pure suck by the way.

Was in Publika earlier today and headed to KLCC. Caught plenty of clefairies (the first couple which I tried run away in previous sightings but today, all caught) and what dya know, hatched a 91% Clefairy lol. Too bad still short of couple of candies to evolve it. Saw plenty of magnetite and caught 3 before guard shoo us away since it was past midnight.

Later will likely head to desa parkcity or setiawalk in the afternoon.

During the evening I spotted tons of mystic & valor gyms of at least lvl 6+ (including multiples of lvl 9-10) around ara damansara - Tropicana - glenmare area. Must have been a busy Friday evening for them pokemon gym dudes lol.
*
I hatched a Squirtle & Charmander already, just need to hatch a damned Bulbasaur & apparently Bulbasaur has the highest chance to hatch among the 3 rclxub.gif
Managed to evolve into Blastoise immediately while the Charmander.........long way to go. Looks like it's time for me to go to Dataran already. As for Bulbasaur, I have enough candies to get 2 Venusaur =.=!!

QUOTE(terryfu @ Sep 3 2016, 03:46 AM)
As a Red Valorians, most of my top pokemons are blue lol!

Can't wait to add my dragons in there but gonna take some time.

[attachmentid=7448447]

Seriously don't know why I keep getting hydro pumped vapors.
*
Yea, among my main teams; 2 Poliwrath, 1 Vaporeon, 1 Blastoise, 1 Gyarados (2nd one coming soon & I got few more high IV Magikarp). Only that Vaporeon don't have Hydro Pump! What a troll & it's hard for me to get a good IV Eevee! vmad.gif
I'm planning to get a Slowbro with Water Gun & Ice Beam too just for Dragonite, so that's another water Pokemon into the team.

Level 10 Instinct gym wrecked.
Gym is now red. There should be a medal for bringing down level 10 gyms.
*
I solo-ed a lvl 10 gym earlier. Managed to bring it down from 10 to 6 only, but the exp was good. My max ATK IV Flareon is CP1700, but lost to a CP1300 Venusaur shakehead.gif

I'm giving up on Flareon already bye.gif

My sad news for today:-

Walking to Setiawalk bridge from LRT. Eh? Why so many ppl gather around? Faster turn on PoGo app. Walk nearer, nothing special also. Asked 1 chinese d00d, he said Dragonite spawned..

Me: sad.gif lan lan suck thumb. Late for 1-2mins
*
My news is good today lol laugh.gif

Went farming for Machop, met few other Trainers there farming for Machop too. One dude been farming since afternoon, got like 90 candies. Another lady I met, woo.....so hardcore, 1 person handling 4 devices farming for Machop lol. Running up & down, sweating like in sauna laugh.gif One for herself, 2nd for her husband, 3rd her mom & 4th was her aunt.

Very friendly people, cause there'll be an interval whereby there's no Machop (like 5 to 15 minutes). So during that period, chatted with them & learn some nice tips icon_rolleyes.gif

Too bad not Valor, or else will keep in touch & raid gyms together.

Flareon a bit tau fu.
I'm using Charizard for my fire pokemon. Coz my Arcanine IV stats not good.
Solo. Waste an hour or more.
Good luck in Bali!
Demographically speaking, the majority of Pokemon Go players in Malaysia seem to be Mystic. So they have the numbers.

But Valor has the quality, look at the thread movement!
*
Yea Flareon's a freaking glass canon.

Took me 30 minutes to bring down a lvl 10 gym to lvl 6, it was defended by 3 Dragonite & 3 Vaporeon. Pretty tough. I have to chao cause supplies getting low. But good exp indeed, wish I have the luxury to take down more lvl 10 gyms.

QUOTE(terryfu @ Sep 3 2016, 10:14 PM)
Team, not just Setia Alam. The area between ara damansara to Tropicana also contain lvl 6-10 mystic gyms. Maybr it's time i called some reinforcements.
*
Ara Damansara as in from Oasis there, via the inner road all the way to Tropicana as in the golf & country club there? Mind sharing the route a bit, if I'm around the area, I'll join you in wrecking those gyms. I'm more of a blood thirsty kinda player lol laugh.gif Enjoy wrecking gyms more than filling up Pokedex.

Any good IV ones? rclxms.gif

QUOTE(terryfu @ Sep 3 2016, 10:48 PM)
Yes that route.

1. Oasis - 2 gyms (go in and get out in 15 mins no need to pay).
2. Tesco - 2 gyms
3. Entrance to damansara lagenda - 1
4. Tropicana entrance (left) and ramp to former pantai restaurant (right) - 2 gyms
5. Reverse and head to Crimson damansara - 1
6. Citta mall - 1
7. Paws - 1
8. Suria damansara (past evolve mall) - 1

U in the whatsapp group? Gonna Pm my number there later and yes let's go wreck some gyms.
*
Lol can take down 2 gyms @ Oasis within 15 minutes or not? If got 3 pax then yes le, or else better park outside & walk in hahaha.

No i'm not in the group lol, scared of too many people making my phone buzz non stop. My phone battery kinda gg already, saving every single volt for PoGo! laugh.gif

I'm more familiar with the Gym route in Shah Alam around i-City.

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Sep 3 2016, 10:59 PM)
I feel you. I had a substantial stockpile of supplies almost zeroed out from taking out that gym.
My backpack is already at 1k capacity, I think potions and revives took up around 100 - 150 slots. I'm left with 3 revives and 4 potions now. It was annoying because the gym was reinforced by 6 Dragonites and 4 Snorlaxes.
*
I have less than half of your capacity lol. But damn, 6 Dragonites & 4 Snorlaxes? That made the lvl 10 gym i took down sounds like its being defended by Teletubbies laugh.gif

3 cheers for taking down that imba gym! cheers.gif

Need to unite all gym wreckers!

Lmao none. Nest =/= Good IV
Hahahaha. Luckily I got a Magikarp from 2km egg, good IV.
But after evolved I get Dragon Pulse sad.gif
Welcome fellow Valorian!!
*
Weird, i have the same sentiments regarding catching from nest too. But the fella i met today, somehow got a good Magikarp from Setiawalk.

Dragon Pulse should be good at whacking Dragonite, give it a try & share the result with us. I'm actually looking forward to a Dragon Pulse Gyarados, cause i got a lil too many Hydro Pump in team already.

Hydro Pump with STAB damage is 29.6. But it's not effective against Dragonite so it's lesser damage than that. Dragon Pulse is 18.1 damage, plus since it's super effective on Dragonite, it should do double damage. Basically based on theories, Dragon Pulse Gyarados can do more damage on Dragonite than Hydro Pump Gyarados.

Come PM me your number and we'll find a day to wreck gyms around I-City and and Kelana / Ara Damansara. I usually have a regular partner with me, and with 3 of us would be much faster taking down gyms together.
*
I got your number already, later I sent you a text msg. Btw, usually what time & what day you take down lotsa gyms?

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Sep 4 2016, 09:27 AM)
Yes, good Magikarps can be caught in the wild. Have caught a few.
But I have never seen good rare pokemons (Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander) in the wild. Not sure if that is a case of them not existing or being extremely rare.

I do agree that Dragon Pulse Gyarados are more effective on Dragonites. Was lucky enough to evolve my first Gyarados with Dragon Breath (Before the update) and Dragon Pulse. Was disappointed it wasn't Hydro Pump back then, but now I really appreciate how strong this particular moveset is against Dragonites.
Actually, I was referring to the guy I quoted.

1 Dragonite and 2 Gyarados for the Dragonites in the gym. 3 Vaporeans for the Snorlaxes.
And a whole lotta time.
*
Wah, that Gyarados's a keeper. Burn all those Dragonite in Gym. I just pray for my Magikarp, no matter what just don't evolve into a Twisterdos 😂

Thoughts on Nidoqueen and Nidoking?
What is the best use of these 2?
*
Nidoqueen seems like the better one in terms of stats, the female Nidoran is definitely the rarer one. They're both Ground & Poison type.

Poison is a useless element la IMO, only Grass & Fairy type is weak to it. Top Grass fighters is Exeggutor. Venusaur, Vileplum & Victreebel is a bit rare. Exeggutor definitely has a Psychic move, so it'll be super effective on both Nidoking & Nidoqueen. And between the Nidos & Exeggutor, I'm sure Exeggutor will KO the Nido pair first anytime as their strength is significantly different.

Ground type, good vs Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock & Steel. The last 2 types are kinda non-existent in Gyms la. Even if there is, they're superbly easy to mop the floor with. Electric is usually Jolteon, yea could be good vs Jolteon since Electric also deals lesser damage to Ground type. As for Fire, too many Water Pokemons that can do a better job compared to the Nido pair. As for Poison type, well usually it's either Venusaur, Victreebel or Vileplum. I could be wrong but I think those 3 are better than the Nido pair too. The main problem is, Ground type is weak to Water types. Too many Water Pokemons are crawling all over, not to mention Ice from Lapras too.

I have a good IV Nidoking with Poison Jab & Earthquake, so......still thinking what to do with it. Maybe as a specialized Jolteon destroyer? lol.

i have had 2 100% IV eevee, one became jolteon, another flareon.....haha, not cursing you, but dont get too happy yet, good luck though......

i just caught another 100% IV eevee ytd CP762, not gonna evolve it yet, the pain of the previous two still lingers..... sad.gif
*
Only 2? Lol laugh.gif

To get Vaporeon itself is hard already, to make things worse....Vaporeon could learn either Water Pulse, Aqua Tail or Hydro Pump. So it's like 1/3 chance to get Vaporeon & then another 1/3 chance to get Hydro Pump sweat.gif

Now whenever I got an amazing stat eevee (IV more than 80%), I'll just evolve it right away. If get junk, candy it right away too lol.

I give up on Gyarados. Just gonna focus on the 2 decent ones I have.

Fuuuu.......heartache mang. I shall be eternally grateful with my Hydro Pump & Dragon Pulse Gyarados notworthy.gif

I felt a fraction of your pain too, 3 Victreebels & none has Solar Beam, 4 Exeggutor & none has Solar Beam & lastly a Vileplum without Solar Beam too. Finally managed to get a CP900 Exeggutor with Solar Beam. I was too pissed at Niantic's troll, insta power up to 2k CP. Now I need stardust badly.

Probably coz it's charge move so DPS wise...you'll be spending more time using the inefficient Quick Attack.

I didn't compare the quick attack move. I compared between Hydro Pump & Dragon Pulse. Maybe I was wrong, think it did the same damage as Hydro Pump. So if it's the same then it's basically double the damage of Hydro Pump since Dragon Pulse has 2 charges instead of 1 like Hydro Pump.

anyone here use an application called "ALL G" ?

Is this app secure?

From my logic, its only calculate IV value in your pokemon pool. I does not hack the in game process and progress. It should be good

But due to it is 3rd party app, i scare it will get ban.

Any member here are using it now?

If it requires login, then most likely yes you'll be in trouble.
