Would suggest more GPU horse power. Cut the SSD and go for RX470 if the price is right instead. WoW increased the GPU requirements.

Sadly the RX470 8GB costs RM 1139 here  bangwall.gif

If can wait, then wait for 4GB version, Sapphire Nitro RM 989 and PowerColor Devil Red RM 899, but still need some top up to the initial budget for it.

Hopefully we'll see that. My GTX970 running at Level 7 out of 10 graphic settings on Patch 7.0.3.

The cpu is downgraded, and also no more hdd. But they both can be added later. It did exceed the budget a little bit.

Do WOW really require that much gpu? Funny, i always though it to be more cpu-intensive than gpu. I think the original build was adequate.

In other words, i don't think the sacrifices are worth it. But at least in the future, he can get a better cpu if the i3 can't cut it.

Settings Level 7 (10 max). 4X AA at 1920x1080 gets you 30ish FPS at Garrison with GTX970. What do you think?

450W or better recommended for HD7770. Your PSU is 250W. Continuous wattage is the one you will be looking at, not max or peak wattage.

So do you think going from geforce 210 to radeon HD 7770 is a worthwhile upgrade for rm200?
*
Yup, its a big jump. Even your built-in GPU is better than G210. What is your monitor resolution?

Yup. They cater for latest hardware now. Hopefully when WoW: Legion launches, there is driver optimization.

Hello bro, I changed my mind, will go for Palit GTX 750 Storm now.

So if I buy the GTX 750 card, will this PSU be able to handle it?

http://www.lazada.com.my/avf-ps550-power-s...0w-3186387.html
(AVF PS550-F12R)

Thanks
*
Nope. That is another BS PSU. The most it can handle is around 250W continuous. Nvidia recommends 300W or better for GTX 750.

So in my case, getting a reliable 400W PSU from reputable PSU suppliers is good enough?

Yes, 350-400W is more than enough.

Hi bro, I saw you recommend Palit GPU alot which is nice because it's cheap and powerful.

My concern is, Palit has no customer service in Malaysia. If anything wrong with the hardware, do you know how can we claim warranty?
*
The seller will help you claim warranty.

unfortunately no. I have an unused rig for a few years before (left to collect dust since 2012) with Geforce 210 lol. dont think can use it again
sounds reasonable enough. thanks man
*
Hard disk, optical, casing might be reuseable. I suggest you bring your old rig along to the shop while you do the upgrades. You need to change only these if they are reuseable.

Upgrade Stage 1:
Core i3-6100 - 495
Asus H110M-K motherboard - 271
Kingston 8GB DDR4-2133 x1 - 255

Stage 2:
Palit GTX750 Ti 2GB DDR5 - 549
Corsair VS450 power supply - 169

Jayacom prices

can i still use my old Gigabyte Geforce 210 as a temporary GPU until I upgrade to stage 2? or the integrated HD 530 on i3 (as suggested by terence_nwb is better?
*
i3-6100 built-in GPU is more powerful than G210. Don't bother.

mon - samsung 18.5 monitor @280

Is Leadtek GPU good?i cant find any review from the internet about their GPU especially gtx1060. Should i go for 3gb with more trusted and popular manufacturer?
Can a laptop HDD fit in desktop? i have one laying around being used as external atm. can i go for 120gb SSD and reused it?
Anyone have experience with Acomtech shop?is they legit? good?haha the only shop with friendly respond and more importantly within my 3.2k budget but i cant find many review of the shop from internet. http://www.lelong.com.my/merchant/Acomtech.htm

Sorry so many question and thanks in advance.  smile.gif

No matter what brand, the base hardware of the graphic card reliability is there. Yeah, I used 3 Leadtek graphic cards in the pasts. No issue.

Yes, you can fit laptop hard disk with a bracket. SSD bracket also works. Bare in mind if your laptop hard disk is 5400rpm, the loading is going to be slow.

No idea about Acomtech though.

Hi all,

-7th Gen Intel Core i5-7400
-MSI H110M Pro-VD Plus Motherboard
-MSI GTX1050 4GB GDDR5 Twin Fan Edition
-8GB DDR4 RAM (2133Mhz)
-Kingston UV400 120GB SSD
-550W Power Supply
-TECWARE F3 mATX Casing
RM 2629

Saw a shop selling above rig with 2629? I think it quite worth right? All sifu have any comment for above built and price?

Thank you smile.gif
*
Questionable power supply. Better check that one. Cut the SSD and go for hard disk. You can always add SSD later. Unless 120GB is enough for you.

Seems good enough but if im going with an i5 should i wait for ryzen or just go on with this on.btw, any suggestion on a good budget monitor?

AMD Ryzen has no official launch date. Also, AMD Malaysia is known to overprice a new product comparing to US prices.

Try Dell S2316H at RM659 from dell.com.my . This monitor is glossy though. Or you can try Acer R241Y at RM649.

Hi! Since Kaby Lake is here already, can I get a recommendation for Mini ITX build?
Something size factor like consoles. (I don't have much space in my L table)

Budget: RM 4,500 just the rig
Size: Mini ITX
Usage: Tree of Savior (probably going to record), other MMO, less triple A games.
Prefer: 16gb ram, good fan cooler?

Not sure if I want myself to get an AMD card or Nvidia card, since AOC freesync monitors can get in MY.. If Nvidia then Gsync is really expensive. Probably 144hz 1ms monitor if going for Nvidia. I am contemplating a lil bit
*
Kinda early and there is not much choices for newer chipset motherboards.

How about these?

Core i7-7700 - 1426 (C-Zone)
Gigabyte H170N-WIFI (BIOS update may be required) - 619
Corsair 8GB DDR4-2133 x2 - 498
Sapphire RX 460 4GB DDR5 Nitro - 699
WD Black 1TB 2.5" HDD - 299
Silverstone SFX 500W - 490 (C-Zone)
Silverstone ML08B case - 340 (C-Zone)

RM4371 total (Mostly Viewnet prices)

If high setting gaming is not a concern to you then it suits your needs. GTX 1050 will struggle at high 1080p for today's games.

Hey, thanks for your suggestion.

Hmm, I think too it's too early to build kaby lake system.
Ryzen lookin good too though, not sure when it will be commercially sold
*
Like I said, too early. Not enough new chipset motherboards for ITX right now.

Ryzen may not be cheap at beginning.
