Source: The Star Biz In the wake of increasing pressure on banks to relax lending rules, the Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) is asking first time home buyers to consider applying for Government schemes such as “Skim Rumah Pertamaku” (SRP) for assistance in their property purchase. An ABM statement said 11 commercial banks and 11 Islamic financial institutions in Malaysia were participating in the SRP scheme. The full list is on SRP’s website (http://www.srp.com.my/). According to the website, 100% financing is available for houses capped at RM500,000. Applicants must have a combined gross income of RM5,000. They must meet other conditions. “Homebuyers are reminded that there are various financing options for them. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not something new but those who are interested in buying Harmoni and if eligible may consider it. |

MRT Corp to submit Line 3 study to govt by year-end
Extracted from The Star Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) is expected to submit the study on the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line 3, or also known as Circle MRT Line, to the government by year-end "We started the feasibility study early this year, and hopefully it will be completed by then and we will present it to the Land Public Transport Commission," said Chief Executive Officer Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar. On the location and the stations of the MRT 3, Shahril said, there were lkely to be in the central of Klang Valley as the Circle MRT Line aimed to connect to the existing lines to ease the traffic congestion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It will be good if there is a station in SiMonyet area though the nearby Kajang already has one. |

I was at EM just now, saw the red carpet at the sales gallery ... the road to the signature roundabout (the one with swan) was not opened then but not sure has it opened for purchasers viewing now |
