Hi,

Does using XOX app consumes our data allowance?

I just realized just now when I 100% fully utilised my allowance, I cannot use MyXOX app to view my subscription / subscribe to new plan.

I ended up subscribing to new plan through *150#.

If you read properly, as per my queries, clearly I am not trying to surf the internet. I just want to subscribe to new data plan via the XOX app.

Clearly with others (Digi), after all data fully utilized {Prepaid/Broadband), I can still open myDigi app and subscribe data from there.

Aside from that, if using Digi, I can still open mydigi homepage from any internet browser once all data depleted.

Hope you can read clearly before posting.

Assuming that you are aware that the free 10GB monthly data plan you're enjoying at the moment will be auto-renewed at the end of the 30 days period then I will also assume that you already have turned-off the auto-renewal of the said data plan.

Thanks. This explanation is very good and clear cut.

The difference of SP+ and normal SP is SP+ will auto renewed/subscribe to another SP+ after 30days given that user has enough credit balance in the account.

All these data will be displayed in season pass counter and it is up to the user to manage the data i.e activate FAT data plan from this season pass as he wish. 👍👍

I ported to few Telcos this past few years, I always make sure after I port in to any Telco, I register TAC at respective banks to ensure no problem on TAC.

Perhaps you should do so to avoid further disappointment.

Yes sometimes we do not need to re register our phone number to banks every time we change Telco but I think, to avoid disappointment, it is better for us to update the number ourselves at bank ATMs.

Alright sadly yes, xox did charge for imessage. Not too sure what's their solution on this.

From us, one thing we can do is temporarily disable imessage until it got resolved.

Not sure if others have this issue resolved or not.

I still can make outgoing calls and received TAC so far for my XOX number. So all good for me. I just unable to access selfcare *150#. Perhaps they are fixing the issue. Other than that, all okay.

The cheapest season pass plus is RM30.

But if don't want to spend RM30, you can topup credit and choose any FAT data plans.
There are monthly / weekly data plan. This way is not actually reasonable if I'm being honest with you.

One of my number is with XOX. I MNP before with a promo. Basically you buy the sim and topup 50 to subscribe to SPFAT10. This way you get 10gb for first month and you can use the 10GB in season pass for your 2nd and 3rd month.

Then if you want to get minutes, you can buy from Shopee seller like I did. I bought from Shopee seller for 300 minutes around RM25.

Or you can topup rm30 and get the RM30 voice season pass.

For MNP, I am pretty sure one of the dealers here can assist you. You may contact adiwarna. He's one of the best. 👆👆

First time I bought season pass plus, I think this is the best so far by XOX as it comes with data and free minutes.

For others, if you don't want it to auto renew after one month, I think you can send sms SP AR OFF to 22111.

Again so cheap data on this one and free sms and minutes. Bargain!

I think no. But if you want to have less than 333 minutes. You can buy from Shopee.

There's seller selling XOX minutes there.

If you look properly at the pricing for calls as adiwarna said to you. Short calls are cheap but long calls are quite expensive.

If your calls are long ie more than a minute, season pass is cheaper as it is effectively 9sen/minute (rm30/333min).

But season pass plus also comes with minutes. Perhaps you might want to have a look also at it.

Actually it depends on your usage patterns.

1. If you purchase happy hour data, it will go to your season pass counter, to activate it... You need to activate by Fatplan. These options can be found if you dial *150#.. Select option 3 (Internet) then option 2 (subscribe from season pass).

2. If you buy happy hour voice, you can use it straight away. No need to activate. Just make any calls, it will deduct from these minutes that you have purchase.

From my experience MNP from Digi to XOX, please kindly unsubscribe to all data plan services. As you may know, Digi data plan are mostly on auto renewal and it needs to be unsubscribe. Even if your auto renewal not successful, you still need to trigger this unsubscription. Once this has been done, then you may try resubmit the MNP application. Thanks.
