ya PO 45.5mm is acquired taste... i had both 45 and 42...
bezel wise the 45.5mm measures 44mm...while the 42 is 40.5mm.
u didn't go check out the 43.5mm? or 'ladies' 39mm? tongue.gif
*
Didn't really want something normal. My DJ 36mm, Tag 41mm, I thought the orange PO XL would be a "different" piece. Alas, I can't see the orange working out anywhere except casual settings.

I did try the SMPc... looks yawn. Wavy dial is nicer.

the nicest is the black bezel with orange numbers.
can do everything also.
*
Somehow I think the black on black is very..hmm, versatile. Orange numbers also not too bad. Then again, given a more formal setting I'd be wearing the DJ anyway.

Have you ever had the 2220.80? I grew up watching Pierce Brosnan. But that bezel needs to be modernised. I like it more than the plain dial on the SMPc. And I take a liking to things that are discontinued.

i had the 2221.80 aka the quartz version...got bored of it.
i had the black SMPc too...that one obviously looks much nicer...but eventually got bored of it too.
*
Hmm. I see. I can't get past the bezel, and gotta buy used. I quite fancy the current ND Sub, after molesting one.

Guess I'm just itching to give myself a reason to buy a new toy.

Now GTFO

I've got an itch to scratch. Sinn 104 St Sa looking better everyday.

We only got 2 wrist, and at any given point in time we should only wear one watch... why we need so many watches...oh well women only have a pair of feet...

Go check it out at the hour glass midvalley. If I'm not mistaken they have the 104. If you are the type who needs to see the watch before buying la. Lol.
*
I've molested it and tried it before, nice, on a strap lagi. Usually I prefer bracelet.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 4 2016, 09:36 AM)
i looked at the Sinn 104 St Sa when it was released before in hourglass gardens.
iirc that time rm4k+ only...now is zzz...but since im not that much into pilot watches...
anyway that countdown bezel takes some getting used to tho...as its of cos used differently to time compared to a diver bezel due to where u rotate the lume pip to...and its also bi-directional.
*
When I asked already RM5k+ RRP... zzz ringgit hancur

QUOTE(fuzzy @ Nov 4 2016, 10:34 AM)
Still can't find love for Sinn, a ship in MV Gardens carries it and just felt the U1 looks better in picture than in real life..
*
I have no love for U1, but you should check out the Sinn 104 St Sa. Got a unique look to it. Macam diver but its not a diver. Pilot watch, but not like those Flieger style.

QUOTE(kenji1903 @ Nov 4 2016, 10:42 AM)
i thought Jason works in MV brows.gif
Everdying doesn't like MV tongue.gif
MV TT still pending more kakis i think
*
Maybe they need motivation/attraction. I know fengshui place with nice view. Satisfaction guaranteed.

QUOTE(Naka7a @ Nov 4 2016, 10:57 AM)
mv oris roadshow still on kan... one of the ladies there quite lansi... maybe i got face problem.
*
Yes on. Didn't bother. Gardens North court got Tudor booth. I sudah pergi tangok. Tudor BBB ETA no more, BBBlue still got ETA. The "new" BBB with the bible text on the dial feels cold. No smiley face and no rose. 12.7k on bracelet for the ETAs, 13.5k for the in-house. RRP.

QUOTE(r3kahsttub @ Nov 4 2016, 11:08 AM)
Oh ya Jason is the one who works at MV and Everdying is the one who refuses to go to MV. Woi, apa susah find parking all? I never had any trouble. I park at the Gardens basement all the time, never had to circle to find parking. I just avoid Friday lunch time and weekends laugh.gif
*
Actually right now also no jam at mid valley ring road.. after lunch ok.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 4 2016, 11:15 AM)
gardens also inhuman parking...
usually i go there i park in front of the glass doors where the parking machines are.
the only time there got parking is usually after 4pm.
really nothing to do there anymore...few yrs ago got la when the old mid valley food court still there...then replaced by that useless IT section....the chilis in mid valley also sux...portions all smaller than other chilis.
want to see watches also nothing to see...better go klcc instead.
*
Chilis sucks in general. Get coffee la, feng shui place with nice view.

QUOTE(fuzzy @ Nov 4 2016, 11:15 AM)
Gardens parking usually is better than MV one, that one I seriously avoid with my life..

Oris roadshow a bit meh...  Not sure if anyone knows but the Sincere outlet in KLCC is having sort of a mini showcase of some really expensive and interesting pieces, mainly tourby by the likes of ALS, Breguet, JLC and a few more others.

Forgot to take any pics, but it looks absolutely stunning.
*
Gardens basement parking better. There's a Sincere here also, atas one next to robinsons. I don't want to step in. LOL. Watches there costs more than my cars combined.

shankar_dass93 NATO straps come in various sizes; just need to find the right width for your watch. All Subs have the same lug width; think 22mm straps will fit the Sub.

Apple_DarreN man, that blows. From experience, it is infinitely difficult trying to get FB to respond- whether for troubleshooting, or even reversing incorrect decisions. I am in a similar boat myself with FB, albeit not as serious as your case. Considering FB owns IG, you may have trouble trying to get in touch with the folks behind IG. Good luck, bud.

Kelvw beautiful pics and thank you for sharing. You have captured the brushed finish very well. So well that I actually went in to an AD over the weekend to have a closer look at the Exp2 laugh.gif

My GMT is likely gone tomorrow, so bids one last goodbye:

between this 2, will go for B&M, the clifton collection will still be there in the future but for MB this design might discontinue anytime ....

isn't it better than its discontinued? well, that's what i'd prefer.

I'll try that...where to get samples btw?  tongue.gif

I don't think they give samples, but you can go to Kiehl's outlet in Midvalley, they have sampler there you can sapu, or you ask the promoter sapu for you. Say you don't know how to apply their ultimate strength hand salve, scared later too slippery.

I don't trust in-house movements in the hands of third party watchmakers. The chances of them messing up on it is much higher than an ETA or Selita.

That's the main problem with Nomos. They do not have a service center in Malaysia. Makes it difficult and probably expensive to get it repaired.
*
Valid point there. I wonder if there's any competent independent watch service center in Malaysia for Rolex. Btw any SC for ETA watches? I think my Tag 7750 is due for a service soon.

I've read horror stories of Rolex Official SC swapping out vintage dials for new service parts cause the vintage one was deemed unfit for service.

Like everdying said. You better like the watch when you buy it.
*
This.

Tag Heuer is a joke in general, but I love my Carrera. No resale value, no real watchmaking heritage (in-house Seiko haha). But it speaks to me, I smile everytime I see it on my wrist.

BUT.. these days I look at my Mi Band 2 for time more. That OLED digital display is just so easy to view.

Rich people don't pay cash.. because cashflow. Because they rich, even shops will extend credit to them, cause not scared they run off, like Ros Ma. Never thought I'd meet one of you rich people.

I am interested with this model.I checked at Watatime the quoted me MR7.5K after discount. What do you guys think. Thanks

Unless you REALLY like THIS piece, there are better similar timepieces (divers with similar movement) for the money, e.g. Longines Hydroconquest. On paper, many other watches comparable in terms of build quality and movement are available for less.

But if this watch speaks to you, get it.

I'd fork out another RM1k and get this instead:
http://watchlim.blogspot.my/2016/08/152-ta...calibre-16.html

If you want it to be new, how about this Oris Diver? But the design is way too different from the Tag, being vintage inspired

gruppo g-04 worth to buy? saw somebody selling at garage sales rm1.6k, kinda tempted..
*
Not worth. Next.

LOL kidding. If YOU like it, sure. But you want it, or you want the real thing its based on?

Personally I don't think its wise to compromise for time pieces, since time pieces are not a necessity but more out of passion/interest. Come on, all of us carry handphones which is sync-ed to the Internet and atomic clocks. Nobody needs a watch. Unless its a G-Shock, everybody needs a G-Shock.

anyway not everyone here has a mansion or a batcave unlike u la...well maybe a couple others more... tongue.gif

I live under a flyover, which costs taxpayers RM40 million to build, or at least that's what they declared. Technically my mansion is rather atas.

Open concept as well, with a klcc view.

Lol. Don't like that la boss, I wear G Shock only.

Would like to ask you enthusiastic guys, I've stumbled a few watch forums, most people seem to oppose Hublot.

What is he reason behind? Is it because it is owned by LVMH, too much endorsement, or is it just plain overpriced watch?
*
Big Momma & Jibby wears it. So, er, no.

My vintage DJ really needs a service... sigh, gonna bleed through my ass.
Wanted to buy a GS61 but boy, prices have really gone up like mad recently, versus back then when nobody wanted it. Still lusting for a PAM000.

I think I've got the best self control in this thread. tongue.gif

Apple watch for gym? Hmm, don't think so. Why'd you need a watch during gym anyway? The HRM is inaccurate. Better off with one of the watches with a chest strap for HRM.
