alamak.... still old mind-set... 3G is not just for video call... i repeat, 3G is not just for video call only... it's also wireless internet access and many more. Now better don't confuse with WiFi or WiMax OK..... And soon, all laptop or perhaps PC will be embedded with 3G receiver. I don't really quite get your question but hope this helps. If you move out of hsdpa area while surfing the net, you'll enter GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA area, you session will continue there. If you are trying to make a video call, the call will be connected through 3G and not 3.5G (IIRC).
