wow 1st time i heard this case

as a fellow malay myself, i was kind of disgrace too hearing this.

but then there's one day a malay engineer came to my house because my problem is isolated case. he was well-dressed and knows what he speaks too (in technical term). and he was at my home earlier than promised for about 10minutes.

i guess the difference in salary made u different too

/me goes to baka-updates to download all those anime that he missed totalling up to 30GB

something to do with the line for my case.

they'll change the modem at first, and if the problem still occurs they'll check the exchange.

i guess its more towards free laptop

eh ozak, does your torrent runs at full speed @ 200kBps?

seems like my torrent is capped around 100kBps daytime and during evening, up to 150kBps. at night only 200kBps

i agree that speed is consistent on download. just torrent like that. which makes me wonder why is it like that

dunno when. guess when it does, only bangsar will get it though.

still, i'm quite happy with the 2mbps already while 4mbps streamyx users screaming why the hell youtube cannot buffer fast enough. lol.

and how can u use maxis WIRED on a TELEKOM area?unless you shifted elsewhere.

different user has different experience.

i, for one, had no problem whatsoever with this maxis WIRED when streamyx users complaining about some rerouting done when those Alexandria and Taiwan cable is down.

and i on my modem 24/7 unless there's thunderstorm.

and i downloaded around 5GB per day (if i got something to download).

and my torrent is constant 200kBps without any tricks on using Azeurus, Deluge, Xunlei/Thunder.

and i don't have crappy customer service that i had to dial 100 each time when my SNR margin/latency suddenly gone bad.

and i don't have to wait for almost 2 weeks for a technician to come to my house in case there are problems with the cables or subscribing new line.

if your area's phone line is under maxis, then surely u can apply for maxis wired broadband. if not, then you're out of luck
