Maxis can give you that speed. The question is, can you pay that price.

Maxis famous with high price.

For home user, they don't give you high speed. The max maybe 10mbps. Even that, the price can kill you.

haiz paying very high price now for their BB and house area dont have wired for maxis as more of the area only PJ/subang/damansara

paying rm180 for the BB with 7.2mbps and yes it is super fast and super pain for our wallet

Anyone knows when is Maxis starting their HSBB?

Some technicians already completed laying the cables behind my house back lane in BU 12 (Bandar Utama phase12).

When I asked them, they say the max speed is 20M. 
All the cabling already completed, but the start date is up to Maxis...

Hmmm... I am very eager to know about the pricing and any cap or not?

Cause the 2M I am using now, is totally not capped...

have a question here, does anyone experience this before where ur downstream/upstream drop randomly from 2048/512 kbps to very low value? say as low as 256/128 kbps?

i gv them a call today, and they said will come over in a week's time to have a look.

exactly how would the house line fault be?

Any body facing connection problem today? my dsl light keep on blinking today after raining & thunderstorm in the afternoon...

If it is Streamyx,Jaring,Maxis or any else provider will have the same problems. Demaning customer like us just have to have a lots of faith.
Call the customer centre and wait, then wait, & wait, technician came home & wait, then he said to wait & wait again. That the typical Malaysia ISPs. What we can do? Just waitlah...

Don't have such problem for me.

But I can't go full speed at the moment for my server. My belkin modem will hang and need to reset when full speed. Got to take back to claim. This belkin modem suck.

I think same model as you. It getting worse as the speed getting reduce in oreder not to hang. I m now set my server to 160-180kbps. even 180kbps will still hang.

I have yet got time to send back for claim.

Did you have hang problem same as me? Try claim 1 new from belkin.

I think tomorrow I go claim 1 back. Cannot tahan the hang modem.

I m thinking get another brand modem too. The first modem I use is aztech which don't have this problem and running full speed. But short life. Linksys is not compactible with my broadband ISP. Others I don't dare to try. If can't use no way I can return back. Unless the shop say guarantee use.

I will claim the belkin kau kau. Their office is not far from my home. So not much problem for me. Maybe they decide to give a better model to me.
