i'm not sure whether my S73G also got a heat problem or not.. i'm using NHC to monitor the notebook temperature. when in battery mode, it normally reach 51-55 degree.. but when in AC mode, it can reach until 68 degree.. is that normal?
sometime, my notebook auto restart by itself while i'm doing some work with adobe photoshop or watching movie.. should it be a software problem or hardware problem? i have upgraded the ram from 1GB to 2GB Kingston..
yeah i switched to nhc and under dynamic switching temps with adapter on normally around 61-63
havent tried any games yet, dont have any besides sam n max

and yeah mine is cooler when running on battery
and yeah same prob with me when i changed to 2 x 1 gig kingston rams

Hi guys,
mind i chip in a bit of caution when using s73g.
If anyone is xperiencing kickin out to desktop
on playing heavy 3d games, running at unusually hot temp,
or any weird behaviour related to the x1600 chip please
try these driver instead.
http://www.station-drivers.com/page/atidriv%20mobility.htm(bypass all the stupid chip scanning stuff from the official ATI site!)
It solved my temp problems and locking on "stalker".
Now my lappy runs so much cooler too.
Previous, omega driver seems to be causing high temp runnin 3dgames.
give it a try, it works for me.
thanks
will install now
