My colleague just got his WISE card's annual fee waived. Before this, he called to cancel the card. The customer service officer (CSO) ask what was the reason. He said he don't pay for credit card annual fee. The CSO helped him appeal for waiving. My colleague just sent a photo of his statement that the annual fee has been credited back to his account.

If I remembered correctly, he called to cancel the card. The customer service officer (CSO) ask what was the reason. He said he don't pay for credit card annual fee. The CSO helped him appeal for waiving. For your information, he is holding a Wise gold card.

I got charged AF early of this month too

Initially was thinking to keep but now going to cancel it.

I have plan to call tomorrow for cancellation as I'm waiting for the cash back to be appear on my credit card account
*
But if the cashback appears in your account and u request to cancel the card, i scared they will just proceed with the cancellation and forfeit your cashback. Hopefully i am wrong.

Do keep us updated.

HLB has charged annual fee on my card last month. This time round I dont bother to waive my annual fee as i know it is quite impossible. I'll just continue using this card since I can still collect cashback using uobpayonline for utilities.

It's a good card to use for utilities and such, where other cards dont get you rebates.
At the moment i guess it's still worth the annual fee for me, albeit just barely.

I am with u. I also use it to pay utilities. Now i dont bother to call HL to waive the AF coz i know its almost impossible. Now this thread is not as active as it use to be. If HL screw Wise's cashback requirements again, i am through with this card.

I am in the same group as you. Every month I got RM100 from my Wise card, while other cards usually cap at RM50. So, I use multiple cards to maximize the rebate. Sometime we cannot calculate based on rebate percentage, we also need to calculate rebate amount.

Same boat too.  bangwall.gif
The total amount rebate is very crucial for me.
I think those who still holding WISE card are on the same boat with us.  whistling.gif

Fully agree. HL Wise offer one of the highest rebate amount (Rm100). For example, SC Just 1 credit card offer 15% cash rebate but cap at Rm85. But ofcoz we must take the annual fee of HL wise into consideration la..

I already have a HL Wise card, hehe.. I am just informing those who still interested in this card, may try apply it online.

Hopefully they still retain their benefits but we need to take note if there is any new t&c.

Paying tnb bills through mytnb (computer) using HL wise is eligible for 10% cashback if my chosen category is utilities? Anyone tried before? So far i only been using uobpayonline to pay for tnb bills.

Currently i am looking for alternative method just in case uobpayonline decides to terminate tnb payment.
