Get a mod with a DNA chip in it...the smoothness and stability of it is very VERY nice. I've used the ipv3 Li before and am very sure a DNA chip will heighten your vape experience. Bear in mind there is a slightly steeper learning curve and a bit of fiddling with Escribe to get the best out of any DNA device.

I used 1 pod each of sabah and madagascar vanilla in 250ml VG. Those 2 pods will be reused to make another 250ml with 2 new pods.

It's quite easy to do. Sterilize a good glass jar with airtight lid by boiling in water, drain, dry and put in VG. I sterilize knife and cutting board the same way before I cut open the pods and scrape out the seeds, and dump all into the jar. Screw on the lid, put a label with date on it, and let it sit in a cool dark place. Give it a shake every 2-3 days for the first 2 weeks, then a shake weekly after.

After a month, it can be used. After 2 months the flavor is even better. Usually when we taste a vanilla product, it's just vanillin (synthesized from wood pulp) we taste...that's the most dominant flavor in vanilla.

But if u use real vanilla pods, you'll experience the natural vanillin together with about 250 other compounds, and let me tell u that your tastebuds will love it. Smokey, creamy, prune-ish, raisin-ey, hint of dark chocolate, touch of cinnamon-ish spice, and asam boi (the scent from sabah vanilla) are some of the nuances I get from it. Quality-wise, I've become spoiled and cannot tahan artificial vanilla anymore

For coconut extract, a packet of dried grated coconut from Giant is cheap, or u can use fresh coconut meat...just dump it in the VG and give it a taste every 2-3 weeks till it meets yr expectations.

No idea where to get Flavorah here...try substituting with FW's vanilla custard.

Other extracts I've made in PG and VG are cinnamon, star anise, cloves, tenom coffee, strawberry, blueberry, lime and chocolate. No recipe...just agak-agak and kept on adjusting and tasting till it felt right.
The strawberries (fresh korean fruit) and blueberries (fresh californian) were put into a cream whipper with PG and charged with 2 cartridges of nitrogen to burst out the flavor. Tasted very good....but it doesn't keep long, about 3+ weeks in fridge. The lime (local lime zest) keeps for about 2 months in fridge. All the others were just steeped in PG/VG, and keep a long time without refrigeration. Have fun!

The Lowpro rda finally arrived.
Washed it and shoved in a simple SS dual 3mm ID contact coil build. Honestly speaking, the flavor is so much better than all my other rda's, probably thanks to the very short height, and I love it! Cloud production is "ok" at best with my ADV 70VG. This proves to myself that certain reviewers need to be taken with a larger-than-normal pinch of salt.

Gonna get a Pico Squeeze to put it on...this rda is gonna be a great stealth squonker! For USD4.63, I'm very happy with it.
Fair warning: it's a bit fiddly to build...not suitable for those new to vaping or ppl who prefer fast n easy builds.
Cons: Came with 2 chuffcaps, black and white. The spitback protection in them makes dripping harder....best to use a unicorn bottle with fine tip. Those caps also do not easily screw in...gotta be careful lest the threads are stripped. I'm tempted to take a dremel to enlarge the center hole of the spitback protection. If one chain-vapes, it can get a bit hot.

After this set of coils wears out, will put a toaster element atop cotton into it. I think that build'll be good too.

Not gonna bother with TC for this rda. The Lowpro was born to be squonked on the unregulated Pico Squeeze. I been monitoring FT for that mod...still not in stock yet (ETA 1/15/2017 yeahrightsuuure), but they do have ready stock for the kit. If the magnets are loose, try extracting them and applying some epoxy glue to fix them back into position.

Maybe the battery door and/or the main body has become slightly distorted over time due to wear n tear/pressure from the battery. If so, try slowly and gently bending the battery cover a little bit, and/or pressing down on the main body portion above the contacts.

If the magnets are still good but the fit of the door is still not proper, maybe a bit of double sided tape applied in the proper places could improve things.

Welcome to the Pico club! And u got it for a bargain price! I got silicone sleeves from FT in May last year. Locally, I recall Hyper Vape carrying those sleeves, but I dunno if they still have stock.


I don't really like using them because if there's a leak, it's harder to notice the juice between mod and sleeve. Dust and lint also sticks to the sleeves...can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth. In town, my picos are nekked, but in a bouncy 4WD on rough roads, the sleeve does offer some protection.

There's a high rate of missing mail/delivered to wrong address in my area, so I've never tried unregistered air mail. Better u pay a buck for registered, or order USD20+ to get it for free.

U can try pooling orders from fellow vapers in yr area...or even consider non-vape items from FT. I've ordered action cam mounting adapters, harnesses, drypads, lenspen, suction cup mounts and misc items for presents...all of which were way cheaper than local pricings.

The cheaper local juices have lots of sweetener and/or coloring in them. Will gunk up your build very fast. If u wish to save money on juice, DIY instructions are on post #1 of this thread; there's also plenty of how-to vids on youtube, and u can get the necessary ingredients from https://www.facebook.com/vaper.stuff/ Better ingredients + less sweetener + no colorants = slower gunking.

Claptons retain more heat than normal coils and will keep on cooking the juice after each toke as the heat dissipates. More cooking = more gunk. This can be lessened by switching to spaced regular coils of kanthal/SS316l.

Certain juices (like coffees, chocolates) will be fast to cause gunking no matter what u do. Better-quality cottons like Koh Gen Do, Cotton Bacon v2 and VCC Supima are mostly slower to clog up than Muji, but do cost much more.
