Why don't all of you terminate the service from tmnet?
And see what's the respond of it.
I'm currently enjoy downloading high speed in Japan now.

But in Hong Kong,
If they find out you are sharing illegal things like movie or drama,
you will be going jail...................................^^"

After reading about all the rants on how Tmnet is throttling the p2p speed, someone suggested Peer Guardian 2. I was told that it helps with this whole IP ban and govt issue but I have never tried so I thought of asking the experts in here.

Anyone use Peer Guardian 2 software while torrenting? Whats the effects?

Peer Guardian just blocks certain IP ranges from accessing your PC doesn't do anything to increase your speeds except perhaps block 'fake peers'

I've been getting all of my Peers connection as REMOTE only....only 1 or 2 LOCAL, what's up with that?

I know that is causing my speed to drop. I think my area has been throttled for the past few weeks. been getting crappy speeds.

Today is the only day i get above 20Kbps!

Hey there !
For Demonoid users, Demonoid tracks your IP.. so means when you disconnected and reconnected, you need to go Demonoid site and do some surfing.. let them able to detect your IP address..

And.. Don't user Bit Comet.. Bit Comet can't track trackers well... uTorrent is good enough...
