Need help.

LY gang here, could you plz recommend me where to get a good socks proxy (4 or 5)?

I'm behind an office LAN and I don't think any other services (openVPN etc) would work.

Really appreciate this! Thank you folks!

Hi guys,

I was with Azureus --> BitComet --> uTorrent (now). I am quite new with uTorrent and I dont quite remember my previous setting with BitComet. Anyone can give me some advice on the configurations of uTorrent for optimal performance?

I am using Streamyx Basic 1.0M - download and 384k upload. Will you share with me the values you have set for the configurations below?

BitTorrent:
Global maximum number of connections:
Maximum number of connected peers per torrent:
Number of upload slots per torrent:

Queueing:
Maximum number of active torrents (upload or download):
Maximum number of active downloads:

I appreciate your input. Thank you.

Thanks for the speedy reply. How much download speed can you get? Nice? Or bad?

How come your Global maximum number of connections: 250 is same with Maximum number of connected peers per torrent: 250? Thought this value should differ?

I found something wrong with my BitComet 0.91 n Ares.

Whenever i run this 2 programme in the background i cant browse the internet. I tried 2 open firefox, IE, opera but it all shows unable to connect. I believe that this 2 program suck all the bandwidth, so i tried to limit the bandwidth. But even when my dl speed set to 10kbs i still cant browse the internet.

Even weirder is when im downloading stuff using Flashget at around 100kbs i can still browse the internet although its abit slow.

I never had this problem b4 in the past. But after i reformat my pc and install a fresh copy. This problem happens. Anyone knows why?

Works for some, not for others. I tried it, and it worked for the 1st torrent, then the rest get stuck at 0. Glad it works for you. Other people with good results like sinoffire, please give us tips.

Entire world? Are you high. IF you want the fastest and free it will still be Bittorent. IF that is if you find a good private sites/tacker to join. Search for it and search hard cause it will be worth it. Trust me it will.

And no Demanoid is not a good private sites.

You got throttled! icon_rolleyes.gif

<TMnet> Haha, another sucker down the tube. Their puny BT software are not match for our AWESOME throttling abilities.

Seriously, you got throttle. Use VPN or Deluge to get nice speed. icon_rolleyes.gif
