My second week driving this new baby..
Some observations:
1. The aircond is a pain to adjust especially if u r on the back seat. I feel the air isn't blowing far enough, maybe the car itself is long. Otherwise it's okay, cool enough for me.
2. When I start the car, in the mornings , I can hear some click click sound near steering when I turn. Anyone hear this? It's not noticeable after some time..
3. Utility compartments are much lesser than my jazz. Driver side has no place to put my condo access card, grr. i feel the placements of the holders or empty holes are not to my liking.
4. Car is lower than any I've driven before. But humps don't give me problems yet. So I will say no complains.
5. Didn't see radio receptions problem.
6. Little annoyed with brake hold when I'm at the stop go situation. Meaning when I need to move a bit abit, not complete stop.
7. Bluetooth connection to phone works most of the time, but sometimes requires Bluetooth restart.
8. Petrol consumption didn't look great. I think i drove about 500 km town ride I think for full tank. Otherwise, I'm really liking the drive of this new civic

Do you guys notice that the indicator stalk gets slightly stuck when:
1. You signal left, but you turn right
2. You signal right, but you turn left

This situation is not normal, but sometimes it can happen e.g. The corner is turning left, but merging with traffic on the right. So you would turn the indicator signalling "right" but you're still turning left, thus your stalk will be slightly stuck.

Ya, it makes more sense like what u say. However i wouldn't know what honda is moving forward with their civic line-ups now, suddenly they re-introduce hatch-back for civic x. Like there's no fixed pattern on what they are releasing, look at their line-ups on civic 8th gen, and 9th gen also the EURO civic, very confusing.

I spoke to many people, apparently many does not know japan totally drop out civic, there's no civic for japan market anymore. In other words no JDM civic since 9th gen, my guess all our new design will follow closely to the US.

CVT will always choose the best engine powerband to power the car. Lower RPM is always better - less fuel usage. It will always try to drop down the RPM whenever possible. You shouldn't think about it too much. I normally try to keep the engine speed to below 2K rpm anyway, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about If you need more power, just press the accelerator more. It'll be more than happy to go up to 5,500rpm for maximum torque & hp.
