My second week driving this new baby..
Some observations:
1. The aircond is a pain to adjust especially if u r on the back seat. I feel the air isn't blowing far enough, maybe the car itself is long. Otherwise it's okay, cool enough for me.
2. When I start the car, in the mornings , I can hear some click click sound near steering when I turn. Anyone hear this? It's not noticeable after some time..
3. Utility compartments are much lesser than my jazz. Driver side has no place to put my condo access card, grr. i feel the placements of the holders or empty holes are not to my liking.
4. Car is lower than any I've driven before. But humps don't give me problems yet. So I will say no complains.
5. Didn't see radio receptions problem.
6. Little annoyed with brake hold when I'm at the stop go situation. Meaning when I need to move a bit abit, not complete stop.
7. Bluetooth connection to phone works most of the time, but sometimes requires Bluetooth restart.
8. Petrol consumption didn't look great. I think i drove about 500 km town ride I think for full tank. Otherwise, I'm really liking the drive of this new civic smile.gif
*
Enjoying your ride.. ya..

Coming from a Jazz Hybrid..
pt 3. You'll get used to it.. Jazz just has too many cubbyholes..
pt 8. Uhm if comparing with de Jazz - its wat 300 kgs more n more powerful .. so hard to rake in the right foot.. keke biggrin.gif

Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype displayed – Thai-built five-door.
*

Certainly,

A competitor for de Mazda3 hatch.. Funny thing is don't the Euros already got the Type R hatch which is a 5 door..
Or is tis solely for de Asian/US/Oz..

Do you guys notice that the indicator stalk gets slightly stuck when:
1. You signal left, but you turn right
2. You signal right, but you turn left

LOL,

Because the electronics need to fathom how stupid the person behind the wheel is... biggrin.gif

This situation is not normal, but sometimes it can happen e.g. The corner is turning left, but merging with traffic on the right. So you would turn the indicator signalling "right" but you're still turning left, thus your stalk will be slightly stuck.

Ya, it makes more sense like what u say. However i wouldn't know what honda is moving forward with their civic line-ups now, suddenly they re-introduce hatch-back for civic x. Like there's no fixed pattern on what they are releasing, look at their line-ups on civic 8th gen, and 9th gen also the EURO civic, very confusing.
*

I dont think its sudden - not for Honda Japan ; just that Malaysia hasn't seen a 5 door [HB] since the 2nd Generation ; 3/4/5 gen got 3 door version .. thou'..
I very much doubt the new type R [if it comes to Malaysia officially] will be at the old pricing of 200k - l think itll be priced closer to its European rivals like the Megane RS n/or Golf GTI circa 250k plus..
On my thoughts - of course l'd love one but in the real world.. l would not spend 250k on a car.. unfortunately..

I spoke to many people, apparently many does not know japan totally drop out civic, there's no civic for japan market anymore. In other words no JDM civic since 9th gen, my guess all our new design will follow closely to the US.
*
Really, my bad then..
I guess Japan is not interested in C sized cars anymore.. I d think ours would be closer to Thai..

CVT will always choose the best engine powerband to power the car. Lower RPM is always better - less fuel usage. It will always try to drop down the RPM whenever possible. You shouldn't think about it too much. I normally try to keep the engine speed to below 2K rpm anyway, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about smile.gif If you need more power, just press the accelerator more. It'll be more than happy to go up to 5,500rpm for maximum torque & hp.
*
Haha biggrin.gif

After doing that .. then complain car consume more fuel ..
There is no pleasing everybody..

That is the emergency stop signal.
Why the delay? Shouldn't take too long since you got the chassis number already.

Sorry,

Was perusing your Modulo package deal.. Seems like no exhaust tips listed - I seem to have read that this is in the Philippines Modulo package..

Kinda interested in that..

Thanks..

I would say a great n complete package better than by Honda Malaysia
but not sure the price..
*

Yup,

Thats the one.. So Honda Malaysia's Modulo package does not include that..
No matter - just wondering if its officially available .. outside exos shop should be loads cheaper..
For instance, l ordered the boot tray n its RM190 blink.gif !!!

I am fine.. I expected it to take its time .. I am also keeping my old number from an old car and that the Puspakom Inspection just ended yesterday.. biggrin.gif
Apparently after that need to take the cars [old and new] to JPJ summore - so much red tape..
