QUOTE(knwong @ Jul 21 2016, 09:23 PM) Picked up my new LS TCP this noon. It's been 8 years since I bought new car. Here's my chronology until today- LOL,Early March - Paid a visit to Honda showroom to enquire whether can book early the new Civic even though not yet launch. SA informed yes. No firm decision yet as I'm still surveying and Mazda 3 caught my interest as well M3 was in my short list too.. until de civic X came along.. Oso had Civic FB n Altis but tis was lower.. Wat do u guys thought .. before deciding on tis.. D This post has been edited by dirtrun: Jul 22 2016, 08:52 AM |

QUOTE(kljy17 @ Jul 22 2016, 02:26 PM) I also suspect that the allocation of cars are decided by the manager of a a particular dealer and the SA do not have any control over it. So I am guessing that if a top performing SA who happens to be close to the manager, he/she can get the car faster regardless of the queue? l second tat... |

QUOTE(lionking7791 @ Jul 26 2016, 11:21 AM) I don't think is easy to change the car because the car with the chassis already registered to jpj before the dealer deliver to you. I think they just try their best to fix it at the service center for all the complaints that you file to them. Make sense? Yes.. Agreed.. Fat chance tat u can get a new car.. |

QUOTE(pigin @ Jul 26 2016, 11:04 AM) Uhm Sorry,Effectively, any tinkering [inclusive of adding anyting] will void warranty.. my suggestion is try n get a good installer tat can plug and play n if indeed u need to claim warranty, then can just remove/dismantle before claiming.. D |

QUOTE(Xaphier @ Jul 27 2016, 12:32 PM) I dont tink so..Read de fine print.. apparently its got Class D amp.. Warranty is void if found it connected while you wanna claim anything 'electrical' - l mean its so easy to connect the 2 together tat legally they are right.. Like l said before if its plug and play and you wanna claim someting connected - then remove it first .. of cos, if dont want the trouble/hassle then stay stock la.. D |

QUOTE(bryangia @ Jul 29 2016, 12:49 PM) Mine one is around 12km/l for 100% city drive without ECON mode. For 100% highway, with 70% auto cruise at 120km/h & 30% trip with more or around the preset speed, is 19km/L. Haha,By the way, I am using RON97 for this direct injection engine... how about you all? Tis is kinda sticky point.. abt how useless is burning a higher octane fuel when a cheaper lower one suffices.. But in my experiences.. 97 gives a little better FC [ I hv experimented n it gvs me a 1 to 2% better mileage - of cos it is not worth it to fill up wif 97 for FC alone..] Oso, l read tat de petrol companies add better 'cleaners/additive' to their more 'expensive' fuel [kinda makes sense] n for de direct injection turbo Civic especially, itll help in keeping de engine cleaner [note tat .. the 'ang-mohs' recommend a 'catch-tank' - injen's de name to help tis - but tis voids warranty la.. ] Me no expert - jus sharing wat l have read D This post has been edited by dirtrun: Jul 29 2016, 01:00 PM |

QUOTE(bryangia @ Jul 29 2016, 01:56 PM) Oh, it is not the "knocking" thing concerns or the Fuel consumption concern, is about the cleanliness of the fuel to minimize the carbon deposit on the intake valve. For "knocking" concern, if I remember correctly, the manual is recommend RON91 or above? Hey bro,RON95 is euro 2 grade while RON97 is euro 4 grade, meaning RON97 is cleaner. To take good care of the DI engine, cleaner gasoline will be better to minimize the carbon deposit. With Turbo DI engine, I will get RON97. I am a convert of better fuel.. of cos when times are hard n every little bit counts .. its hard to pump 97 .., Difference can be quite a lot for a tankful.. BHP not very convenient for Penangite as minimal stations .. Cheers D |

Bolehland politics more side the big companies than us Rakyat.. l tink govt give until 202-sumting kut for de petrol companies to come up wif new less polluting fuel.. BHP is doing on its own accord [ or at least l tink its cos they buy from Sgp n tis is de lowest fuel they have.. ] D This post has been edited by dirtrun: Jul 29 2016, 02:20 PM |

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jul 29 2016, 02:20 PM) i remember there was a debate about 95vs97 in v1 thread and there's slightly difference with pumping 95 IMO,correct me if i'm wrong many people go for bhp/shelll but i always go for petron because of the membership points and sometime got a free gift Shell fuel suxs.. BHP is not bad but l fill wif Caltex.. it gvs me de best FC.. D |

If really cannot tahan, l tink looking for a new rim is d only solution.. I m sure there'll be a few at de bigger tyre shops once there is more on the road.. I suggest - not to look at it for sumtime n eventually like they say Time heals all wounds |
