QUOTE(pigin @ Aug 24 2016, 02:26 PM) its okay.. its prolly cuz their cars used to be able to cucuk 9th gen but now 10th gen TC leaves them in a trail of dust. they beh song so come here complain la. QUOTE(sean2823 @ Aug 24 2016, 02:29 PM) Just had a chance traveling to KL today, the car still below 1000km, not thinking of pushing too much, and yet the car is very steady at 150km per hr, rpm still below 3000, feel like 120 at my old Persona, with even quieter cabin with minimum engine roar. It is hard to drive with official speed limit as too tempted to push more. LOL, I wonder what speed for you is too much.. Haha But l understand the feeling.. thats why cruise control is kinda useful - set at 110kph n let it do its work.. This post has been edited by dirtrun: Aug 24 2016, 02:51 PM

QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 24 2016, 03:37 PM) For bugs, don't wait a long time to wash em out. Need to wash them off a.s.a.p. The same thing applies for bird crap. Normally for bird crap, I just use unscented wet wipes to wipe them off - coz most of 'em will be dry by the time I attempt to wipe it off. Bugs - I normally wash my car after a long drive on the highway, so they'll wash out Bird droppings .. especially the sticky brown, infused with many seeds [ l think its from wild figs..] is literally the worse.. you need to soak first before itll wash off and even when its wet [fresh] its sticky so you cant just wipe it off..

But this figure seem close as per official claim, right? Wow, Tats very good.. I guess the CVT is very gud for FC..

QUOTE(limkj @ Aug 29 2016, 09:53 AM) Did they remove the bumper to change the horn? Thinking of changing my horn but was told that you have to remove the bumper to install it. The original horn was placed there. Truth be told.. I didn't see em do it.. If its any consolation.. I left the car for about 2-2.5 hrs.. While l was having lunch, the call came to say cars ready.. AFAIK, it roughly took abt 1.5 hrs for em to do both.. they do have a lot of staff so they could have done both at the same time..

For future warranty claims purpose... Can fit back and go Honda... I didn't.. Its still with me.. My thoughts exactly.. lll keep the original rims/tyres for a while - in case anything goes wrong..
I always wonder every time go service also need change back the rim? or they will record that you have changed the rims before?
AFAIK, They don't.. but then again l haven't claimed anything yet... Logically, if you are claiming for a busted absorber/brakes, then it'll make sense not to have after market rims la..

QUOTE(isr25 @ Sep 1 2016, 05:48 AM) I know that a lot of Civic owners buy their accessories from Taobao / Aliexpress. Majority of lelong sellers get theirs from there too - same design etc - and the silicone key cover costs roughly RM9 there : example. But of course, you'll need to wait a few weeks for the items to arrive if you order from there... Any kind soul wanna do a mass group buy for this? I am game for 2 if so...

QUOTE(isr25 @ Sep 1 2016, 08:36 AM) No need for group buy. Just buy directly since if group buy you need to pay extra for courier. No shipping fee anyway... The Civic X Whatsapp group has been doing a group buy many times, so do join the group if you're interested. Details are on the first page. I tried joining the Whats app group several times [via W A messaging] - no reply

QUOTE(selphy @ Sep 1 2016, 09:44 AM) Not completely empty of course, I could still start the car and drive to the nearest petrol station. I believe all cars come out from the factory with a little bit of petrol; and some km would be expected for new cars. Unless some here have gotten their cars at 0km? Mine was 16km.. LOL.. l remember when they drove the cars out from Malacca n delivery mileage was in the 6++.. I guess back then we were dumb
