Hi M3 owners... anyone here replaced your absorbers before?
I'm driving 2nd gen hatchback and was quoted rm1.1k by svc center for a pair of front absorbers.
The price includes gst + labor, it also comes with 6mth/10,000km warranty.
I'm wondering whether anyone here has experience replacing this outside and whats the total damage.

I mean workshop outside that service mazda car, cause already out of warranty period. Dont want to go Mazda authorize workshop cause it's expensive.

Thanks for suggestion on shock absorbers replacement.

My car is also out of warranty already and I'm located in Penang. Anyone has experience servicing their car at outside workshops? Is it much cheaper?

Then no idea liao. For Mazda, it's hard to find a reputable workshop. Best is to source original part outside then bring to SC for repair.

that is not a specialized mazda workshop, but general for all cars, if you want to find original spare parts then might need to source it elsewhere

For normal servicing like changing engine oil or ATF or brake pads you don't need to go to Mazda specialist. Any normal mechanic can do. Even most general repairs they can do also unlike Conti cars where you need specialists.

I am eyeeing for hi-spec M3 Sedan. Was quoted for 128k OTR according to brochure. I heard some sales agent offer cash rebate and freebies except Mazda Equine Park as they told me maybe those sellers are trying to clear old stocks.

Do you guys really recommend M3? Right now I am driving Honda City 2010. Maintenance and spare parts are cheap. How's the maintenance cost for M3?

worth to buy, given the price at 128k, you really get a lot of active and passive safety features and other good-to-have features, the car is good to drive and really suitable for small family

and bermaz dont really give a lot of discount but you can survey around see if got dealers willing to offer more discount

128k? Was there a price hike recently? Supposed to be 125k including insurance if not mistaken.
